Trouble Maker in trouble with netizens for being raunchy, so their concept worked

Trouble Maker (4minute‘s HyunA & BEAST‘s Hyunseung) are getting criticized by netizens in Korea for their choreography on the most recent airing of SBS‘s “Inkigayo“?

Shocking.

Can we chalk this up to being one of the least surprising things we’ve ever heard?

HyunA and Hyunseung brought down the house with a shocking choreography that involved excessive amounts of physical contact between the two artists for their title track “Troublemaker.” Throughout the choreography, Hyunseung would graze HyunA’s thighs and rub their hips together.

Netizens showed mixed responses and rushed to comment on the show’s website regarding the performance. Many criticized, “It was too raunchy,” “It was embarrassing to watch with other family members,” “I didn’t know where to look,” “It’s too much for television,” while others commented, “They should be free to perform however they wish.”

I’m utterly floored by this reaction from a bunch of virgins that consist of female haters who are mad as fuck and males who want to say the politically correct thing publicly so they can feel good about themselves but will then go into their rooms and furiously fap to this:

Let’s be honest, their entire concept was crafted to get exactly this type of reaction and buzz.

Since Trouble Maker’s formation, controversy was all in the stars for this duo, from the name itself to the innocent male/sexy female partnership to the mature teasers to the kiss heard around K-pop to the bump and grind music video to this controversial stage.

It’s so blatantly obvious and in your face, yet people still felt the need to get up on their moral high horse and make a big deal out of it, thus giving them and their company exactly what they wanted. Essentially, the netizens and media are just creating a viral internet marketing campaign for them free of charge and making the personas of both stars cooler to anybody in “Fuck Tha Police” teenage rebellion mode.

So congratulations as always moral zealots, I’m sure assisting their careers will certainly make sure this type of pushing the limits thing never happens again.
