For a rookie group that debuted in November that isn’t generating a ton of buzz or popularity, that’s a solid amount of articles to begin with. 50% of the articles were Main Featured and 75% of them were Main Featured/Featured, so it’s crystal clear what I’m getting at and what everybody already assumes. Furthermore, only one of the three articles designated under Regular could have ever actually been Main Featured/Featured, since two of them were selca articles.
So why do allkpop’s commenters questioning allkpop in their own comments? Stuff like this is probably a decent start to the answer.

I bash this group on akp all the time. They arent doing anything worth while. Their music is bland. Their dancing is their best attribute of anything. Also nobody on akp seems to like them.
I don’t really bash them to hate on them, they just aren’t that good and they overpromote them, ironically leading to backlash.
I like newFO but I have to say the only good thing about it is JN she is so hot I cant believe the she got kick out of girls day in the same time she was replace by super sex goddess Yura
beside JN the other girls are really boring is nothing special about them I hope the group succeed so I can watch more JN

I see people defending them on allkpop. Guess as a counter to the number of haters.
None of them seem to understand that promoting groups on their own whim and tipping their favoritism hand is the problem.
They can promote their own group however they want, I’m just pointing out that there are consequences to doing it the way they are doing it.
Public perception is already so negative that they are biased but they were running mainly off conjecture and delusional bullshit before, now they have easily justifiable evidence of it.
