Girls’ Generation makes you feel the heat…but less than an Irish indie folk artist.
Girls’ Generation US album ‘The Boys‘ has placed high on the Billboard chart.
The album has ranked 22nd on the ‘Heatseekers Albums‘ category of Billboard, while impressively placing 2nd on the ‘World Albums Chart‘.
They lost to a Lisa Hannigan album that was originally released in September of 2011, and while I’m sure she is more talented than all of the pop industry around the world combined, she’s a goddamn Irish indie folk artist for fucks sake.
Not to worry though, they beat Ladysmith Black Mambazo on the “World Albums Chart“.
Certainly a worthy enough accomplishment to go around calling the accomplishments of Britney Spears shitty.

Ladysmith Black Mambazo is my country’s pride and joy. Grammy winning, they’ve performed on Oprah. Hahaha so it’s cool SNSD can have this one,LSBM is still more popular than them :)
