On the January 5th episode of Mnet Wide‘s “Open Studio” TEEN TOP‘s C.A.P was asked how he’d raise his kids.
The answer?
Sexism is awesome.
How has this not gotten any attention? When asked how he would raise his children, C.A.P says he would do it “coolly”, which apparently means doing everything for his son and beating the everliving shit out of his daughter because women need to be kept in line or something.
After he said it, all the members clearly turn to him and make faces like, “BRO WHAT THE FUCK YOU ARE FUCKING OUR CAREERS“, and so he tries to get out of it by throwing in, “OH BECAUSE IT’S SO DANGEROUS THAT’S WHY“, and the hosts and the members somehow accept that as a legitimate answer like, “OH OKAY OPPAR DIDN’T MEAN IT“, and then they all move on like he didn’t just say women are worthless and incapable of surviving outside of the home.
Perhaps the most amusing part about all of this is the fact that female fans will probably completely overlook the fact that he essentially just admitted that he thinks women are grossly inferior and it’s okay to beat them.
Why? Because they think he’s hot and has talent.
Call it the Chris Brown Stockholm Syndrome.
=====
Can’t wait until this psycho TEEN TOP fan starts threatening me over this.
Asian Junkie Asian pop. Without discretion.
Nah, best part will be the TEEN TOP fans saying that he was only joking, as if idols joking about beating and imprisoning women is the norm or something.
..and some actually believe it was a legit joke.
Already started en masse.
I’m surprised he said “beat/hit her,” I mean, okay it’s dangerous, keep my princess at home…heard it before, but BEAT her? um….I smell B.S.
I guess his daughter’s only hope, is that her brother happens to be gay. Even then…
Yeah, can you imagine what this tolerant individual would do to a gay son?
Probably murder.

The delusion is sickening.
IT WILL GO AWAY IF WE STOP TALKING ABOUT OPPAR
It’s weird how a fandom that seems to love to make a controversy out of anything (clothing, song lyrics, alledged plagiarisms) also tries so hard to avoid REAL controversies. C.A.P is not the first artist to say something stupid and just get a pass from fans.
In Japan is sort of different, right? When artists say or do something outrageous, the companies usually handle it by stopping their activities. Remember when Koda Kumi said something about women getting preagnant after her 30′s or something?
Japan has a more Western view in some circles, but they are sort of the same.
Celebrities who say fucked up shit are more likely to be called on it though.
Yeah, Koda Kumi was in deep shit over that remark.
So I tumbled around to see how rabid fans are reacting, and here are some of the excuses they’ve come up with for this fuck:
1. It’s in Korean. If you don’t understand Korean, stfu.
2. Translation is misleading.
3. I was beaten as a child, so what the fuck is the big whoop?
4. Cultural differences. Deal.
5. He didn’t mean it. It was a joke, obv.
6. If he has kids, he probably won’t beat them, so stop hating.
It’s as if they’re not seeing the clear sexism at play here. Repulsive.
Hahaha. Of course.
Wow. Just WOW. This physically sickens me. The ease in which he made those statements, just blew my mind.
How has this been overlooked?
The fact that there are people defending him is absolutely disgusting.
The hosts just moved on like, “Oh yeah, good explanation.”
lol
wow this cap guy has some issues…
Yeah he seems like a real prick. And somebody on my twitter tried to tell me he was joking. Nah son we dont believe you. You need more people.
Teen Top fans are like the new ELFs in terms of rabidness, delusion and obvious psychological problems, amiright??
lol
