Sports Chosun recently reported that Kara‘s Hara‘s contract with DSP Media would be ending soon, setting off a bit of a firestorm of speculation as to what will happen to the group given their past contractual disputes.
allkpop translated that article and the international Kamilia fandom went insane.
It was revealed today that the ‘Invincible Youth‘ and ‘City Hunter‘ star is the only member whose contract with DSP Media will end as soon as this coming August. Big hitters in the entertainment industry are said to be actively planning to recruit the star.
One representative stated, “Because things have happened with KARA before, talk of contracts with media agencies is extremely sensitive. It’s a delicate situation to bring up, the music industry is rocking because such a big star is being released.”
The contracts for the rest of the members of KARA, Kang Ji Young, Park Gyuri, Han Seungyeon, Jung Nicole, will not be ending until next year, and Goo Hara has not made any commitments yet.
Fortunately for them though, that appears to be incorrect information.
According to mydaily, the reported August date has nothing to do with their DSP Media contract, but instead revolves around their contract in Japan. That does need to be renegotiated because otherwise there’s likely to be a bidding war due to Kara’s popularity there. On the other hand, their Korean contract is still set to expire in two years, so there’s quite a bit of time left.

Their japan contract is much more lucrative than the korean one. Look at how how much they earned in such a short time in japan as compared to Korea.
Anyway i’m rooting for a Kuroki/Jin incident to happen on Hara/Junghyung. Its time we see some action in the korea.
They would abort it.
Seriously.
Jin/Meisa are soloists and they are older. Hara/Junghyung are idols in groups and young.
Abortion would be so cruel.Whether they are young or old don’t matter. In the heats of passion, seeds could be planted.
I don’t even think they’re actually dating lol. But if they last til next year, there’s a good chance that might happen
I heard Hara has a powerful sugar daddy(mob boss?), so I guess she’s … eh … safe.
If rumors are to be believed, a lot idol girls have one. Sugar Daddies are also known as powerful share holders and investors from the upper crust of South Korean society. But how much can rumors be trusted…?
The fuck?
Combine this with Gyuri out for 3 months and Nicole’s injury, let the rumors of a breakup begin.
