Public Service Announcement: Regarding Politics, Keep Your Idol Desires Out Of It

The labor strike at MBC has continued on into its third week, causing production to stall on popular shows like “We Got Married” and “Infinity Challenge“.

Fans of the shows, as you would expect, are pissed because they can’t watch their idols and other celebrities.

It’s getting to the point where viewers are becoming infuriated. Viewers have been taking their frustrations and complaints to MBC’s forums.

Frustrated viewers have been voicing out their annoyance with comments such as:

“How long will this last?”

“It’s been so long since we’ve seen a new episode. How long will this last?”

While I realize that people desire to see their idols and other celebrities on television every week, there are things of greater importance at stake than watching stupid fucking television shows, so they need to just stay out of it.

In MBC’s case, the labor union believes MBC is limiting their freedom of press and is becoming a mouthpiece for the government and they want the head of MBC to resign. MBC argues that the labor union has no right to strike and is threatening to press charges.

Point being, stuff like the MBC strike is of far greater importance than what most people are complaining about in regards to television shows. While I understand that idols on television might be the world to you in the insular universe of K-pop, outside of that, people have real issues and real problems with serious consequences.

As such, stop trying to leverage your anger about your inability to watch some dumbass show when the issues at hand are far beyond that in scope and importance.

In short, stop being an idiot.

  1. Whiney teens who can just look at the thousand+ pics they have stored on their computers/phones if they wanna see their idols…

Strikes are like the last thing people wanna resort to (doesn’t bring in ANY income and people should have a really good reason to go on strike) especially important strikes that concerns freedom, rights & government propaganda etc…. But yeah, that means nothing to some people, unfortunately *sighs*

  2. Well what do you expect from teenagers? As most and including me at one time, think that the world revolves around them and their delusional needs.

  3. Imagine how easy it would be to pass a SOPA or ACTA-like bill in South Korea/Japan(maybe).

“As long as you don’t mess with our idol shows — do whatever the fuck you want!!”
