Core Contents Media recently invented a photoshoot offer for their brand spanking new girl group that they unfortunately named Gang Kids.
It has been reported recently that Gang Kids, Core Content Media‘s new 7-member girl group, has declined an offer of $747,187 USD (800 million Won) to participate in a photoshoot.
According to the label company’s representative, “Endorsers who have seen Gang Kid’s Italy photos, have praised their slim figures, and offered $747,187 for them to pose in a mobile star photoshoot. However, the members turned down the offer.”
Gang Kids explained, “After the announcement of our music debut, we didn’t like that the general public and music industry representatives believed that we would be releasing songs with a sexy concept, which is why we rejected the offer. We want to be judged by our music. We want to focus on our music and performance to show performances that exceed expectations.”
Yeah … no.
1) They named their new girl group fucking Gang Kids. Somebody was high as a motherfucker when they coined that name.
2) You want people to believe that you turned down ~$750,000 because you want a pop group to be taken seriously as artists? This isn’t some fucking indie band, it’s a goddamn pop group and generating income is their role in the industry.
3) There’s about a 99% chance this photoshoot offer was fabricated by CCM to draw attention. The intent is to say, “They haven’t even debuted yet and look how much demand they have! You should pay attention to them too! Since the offer was for a photoshoot, that must mean they are pretty, but their music is going to be quality, so they turned it down.”
You have to be a goddamn idiot not to see that. It’s so utterly transparent that I almost feel bad for them.
I called BS on it when I saw it on AKP. I said they did this for attention. Wanting people to believe that their horribly named new girl group is in high demand like that.

You can tell that name was made up in the last minute. I used to thought Piggy Dolls was messed up, but shit, if had they been called “Fat Bitches” it’s still better than fucking “Gang Kids”.

I assume this name was decided upon by Koreans who have very little proficiency in the English language. They don’t understand how bad this name sounds.
Given the international ambitions of these companies, you’d think they would have consulted some non-Koreans about the name first.
