On MBC‘s “Music And Lyrics“, John Park told Park Jin Hee that men doing aegyo is disgusting.
During this episode, Park Jin Hee requested John Park to show her some of his aegyo to which he responded, “When a woman does aegyo, it looks cute and fresh, but when a man does it, it’s disgusting.” His honest remark had Park Jin Hee cracking up as he adorably expressed his inner emotions about men who act cute.
This is definitely a preference that seems to come with a cultural divide and gender politics, but it does creep me out when I see a guy doing aegyo.
I’m convinced this appeals primarily to teenage girls, right? Because I can’t see what is attractive to women about a guy talking in a baby voice and shit.
Talking in a baby voice is creeper but the action get me ovaries working over time :)

I hate aegyo. I learned to tolerate when girls do it because it’s part of K-Pop, but when guys do it I freak out. Everyone who’s over 12 and do that shit needs to look at his/hers life choices.

it’s not for homosexual you know. i believe that aegyo is popularized by idols(probably not part of korea’s culture) which are manufactured by their company.these companies have device all the possible ways to attract fans to like their idols. i think aegyo is used to show the feminine side of the male idols to make female fans become comfortable with them.and who doesn’t like a person they were comfortable with?

Even though I agree with him, but doesn’t it destroys the purpose for guys like Ren and Niel since they look extremely feminine?
