I recently stumbled upon this new hip hip group from Jungle Entertainment called M.I.B, but was confused when I heard it stood for “Most Incredible Busters“.
From my own experience, a “buster” is not exactly something you want to be known as.
Urban Dictionary describes a “buster” thusly:
Someone who cant hang or is just acting like a little punk bitch.
Someone who does not keep it real; a poser; someone who rats out your friends
So basically they are the “Most Incredible Posers“, “Most Incredible Punk Bitches“, and “Most Incredible Snitches“.
What?
Their name is incredibly puzzling given the fact that they are a hip hop group, and one that has connections to Tiger JK and Yoon Mi Rae at that, both of whom certainly know what it means.
Am I missing something here?
Asian Junkie Asian pop. Without discretion.
I read it was originally supposed to be Most Incredible Bastards. Scratching my head on the “busters”.
Yeah the original name was supposed to mean “Mega Interesting Bastards”. I have been complaining about this since they were planning to debut. I have half a mind to tweet Tiger JK and ask what’s up with their name.
That actually makes more sense to me.
Wonder what the title of their first album will be.
Maybe they’re just Korean hipster douchebags who were going for something “ironic”.
Even then, it doesn’t make too much sense.
lol..Sounds like a bad pun.. or something pretentious people use to sound “hip”.
And nobody says “busters” anymore. haha
My dad does >.>
“Am I missing something here? ”
The credibility of your sources maybe?
What?
All these groups nowadays called themselves any damn thing especially with the stupid acronyms and numbers -___- What’s next? XLR8 (accelerate), BOOBS (Burnt Orifice Oatmeal Bump Slack), TUK (Tribe Under Korea)?
There’s actually a pop group with the name accelerate though.. the name itself is part of the reason why no one gives a fuck about them
Easiest to appeal with internationally.
XLR8 is a pinoy pop group. The real reason they arent that famous is because suju fans are pissed because they used a similar beat to sorry sorry.
“BOOBS” LMFAO!
And XLR8 is actually one that i could see someone using.
“BOOBS” LMFAO!
And XLR8 is actually one that I could see some company using.
ripped off of men in black acronym not KOO bro NOT KOO
Funny that you only just found out about them now. They were awesome when they came out their new single sucks monkey balls.
Their fans are called busters.lol
They were originally meant to be “Most Interesting Bastards”, and Bastards doesn’t exactly have a positive connotation either.
It’s just a self-deprecating title.
Uh, “Mega Interesting Bastards” actually.
Still doesn’t make sense.
Bastards would because even though it has a negative connotation, it can be sort of cool to be called a bastard if it’s in a bad boy terminology sense.
There’s really no way around being a buster.
Never heard that definition of buster..
This one is more common. Certainly in the UK anyway.
1. (informal, often as a term of address) A guy, fellow; a friend.
They obviously aren’t imitating British slang.
I didnt say they were…but to the majority of the world, buster does not have the definition stated above.
ENOUGH OF ALL THIS BUSTER SHIT!!!!!
WHERE IS THE ARTICLE ABOUT 4MINUTE’S COMEBACK??
….And SiSTAR’s???
Yeah too, but for now I like 4minute more…. in the second teaser they are shaking their flat arses everywhere and their “vampiristic” concept I really lick it
I just saw it and I’m intrigued to see it too. As usual, HyunA has the most attention. 2NE1 better watch out, HyunA and the backup singers let y’all have your fun long enough.
I DO WHAT I LIKE
I thought this too when they first revealed the name. But whatever turns them on I guess…
Double posted. Mb.
