Don’t worry, the SNSD haters are still in the minority. While individually they’re not the HOTTEST girls in K-pop (as in there are plenty of other idols hotter than them), collectively they’re the best looking group, at least that is pretty much the consensus.

SNSD are seen as an attractive ‘group’ because the very fact that they are such a large group stops the viewer from actually looking at their individual faces.
Most of them are average, some of them are downright hideous and probably two of them are decent looking…but NONE of them are at suzys level.

Yoona is Korean equivalent of American “cheap blonde”. If ratings mean anything, Korean public is already sick of her according to how “Love Rain” is doing.
Ikr. SNSD is overrated as fuck, and for what? Taeyeon’s voice? That’s about the only thing that I would consider to be “decent” about SNSD.
Everyone says that Yuri/Yoona/Sooyoung can dance though.

Even “Love is Move” had way better dancing than “The Boys” but still, SNSD won all of the awards.
Same thing with Super Junior. I personally like Super Junior, but really? Mr. Simple wasn’t good enough to beat out all of those other groups with decent songs that were having comebacks at the time.
Maybe that’s just my opinion, but SNSD and Super Junior are really overrated imo. They don’t have anything “spectacular” about them besides the fact that they have a million members in their group, which I don’t think can be classified as “spectacular”

Agree about the SNSD cheerleader effect. Once they are out of their line up, with the short shorts exposing their legs, they look very very average.
