“Super Diva 2012″ contestant Lee Eun Ji admits she was propositioned for sexual favors

Lee Eun Ji, a contestant on tvN‘s “Super Diva 2012“, recently shared the story of how she was propositioned by an entertainment company CEO for sexual favors.

Fourteen years ago, when she first signed a contract with an entertainment company, the CEO of that company asked for sexual favors from the singer. Upon hearing of her horrific experience, writer-producer Joo Young Hoon became angry and asked her for the name of the CEO. Upon hearing the CEO’s name, the panel of judges looked visibly upset and shaken by what Lee Eun Ji had to go through.

You know, this actually is shocking, primarily because you’re not supposed to pull back the curtains on shit like this in Korea, especially on a talent show that’s going to be broadcast all over the country.

In the wake of the Open World Entertainment sexual abuse scandal, I’m surprised that the CEO’s name hasn’t been outed yet.

  1. So he got arrested instead of his face being blurred, it was the handcuffs… and his name STILL isn’t released?

But yeah shocked this was said on TV. So will more action be done against stuff like this…? (I kinda doubt it but I can hope)

    • What? Different company, I think.

      • it was in regards to this (which I probably should’ve quoted)

  2. Korea should of known they can’t keep that “Happy Sunshine Land” image that people think they had. I don’t know much about Korean culture and how their society exactly is, but nothing much is going to change even though more stuff like this is uncovering more. Koreans are too “proud” to let something like this to taint the exterior they put up.

Look at NK and China’s media…Did I just said N. Korea has media?

  3. Sickening

  4. I highly doubt it will stop, even with all the scandals circulating around these entertainment groups. as long as there are young ladies eager for stardom there will be men just as eager to exploit them.

Dont really see a problem with this..

Dude asked her for some action, she said no..

No biggie. Not really comparable to gang rape. I ask chicks for sexual favours all the time.

    • I find it easier to ask for sexual favors when they are drunk…..
      “hey, are you drunk”
      “yeesss I ammm”
      “wanna fuck”
      “ssuuuureee”

    • Which is something you don’t do in a position of power.

Youre not sposed to, but vast vast numbers of people all over the world do :o

  6. The Open World scandal was just the tip of the iceberg, so prepare your guts…

  7. I’m really glad more and more people are coming out with this stuff. At least we get it out there instead of having it shrouded in mystery.

Maybe it won’t change NOW but sooner or later, if Koreans want other people to pay attention to their music, then they will have to change when they start to be judged by others.

  8. Just like the scandal that happened with the Boys over flowers actress, the open world issue will be brushed under the rug. Asians can’t deal with heavy shit like this and will do anything to settle it as quietly as possible.

    Take it from an Asian.

    • sad but true

    • Pretty much. I have not heard anything about this case in a year. They just let it dye down then buried it.

It is all about saving face and have a perfect image…so these type of things get hidden. The house looks clean because all the dirt is in the closet. One day…they will run out of room.

    • why-is-it-so-hard-to-comment-on-this-site

Asia isn’t just s.korea, you know?kpop claiming that they represent asia is just a shit. not all asian acts like korean.

    • so true :( kinda also reminds me of the JE scandal….
