Everybody has probably heard by now, but T-ara‘s Eunjung was “robbed” of a staggering 23,000 Euros while in Italy recently.
T-ara‘s Eunjung has been robbed of a staggering, 23,000 Euros (~ $30,078 USD) while in Italy.
During T-ara’s stay in Italy, Eunjung was put in charge of managing the budget for T-ara and Core Content Media‘s new seven-member girl group.
Now while that’s the official story, I’m thinking it’s more likely that, inspired by what she has seen in Italy, decided to pull off some Edward Norton double cross shit from “The Italian Job“.
It has been reported that on April 12th at 5PM, Central European Time, the group took a short break during their photo shoot at a cathedral square in Milano. At this time, Eunjung went to purchase some coffee when she was robbed, losing her handbag to a thief. Although 23,000 Euros were lost from the unfortunate incident, the members’ passports were kept by a different staff member, which is a huge relief.

I bet after she “accidentally” left the bag unattended for the “robbers” she met up with the “thieves” and divided the money up between them. Then off they went together to spend it all on wild nights of hookers and blow.

Not sure if it’s common to carry that much in Korea but yeah… I would never carry that much money in my wallet esp when I’m in a different area of the world (and may look obviously outta place/a tourist)

Maybe not that super large of amount but I know in certain places they carry larger bit of money than using bank/credit cards all the time (it’s just not common to swipe your card.) So technically, many people really do if they have it on a bank card & carry it around. Only difference is you can cancel your card as soon as you know it’s lost/stolen and may not be responsible for those charges. She probably flashed it a bit without realizing and probably looked obviously foreign.
So um yeah, seriously.

Korea is the most wired country in the world, I don’t think it would be necessary to carry around 30 large.
When I visited Korea they paid everything with fucking credit cards – even the cabs. Just had to hold that fucker to some device and it was done – extremely easy.
So I do not think it is common to carry that much cash. What a dumb slut, I am sure she had to suck many old rancid dicks to pay back what she lost.
When I visited Korea depending on what I was buying I paid in either cash or or credit (I also half paid attention to what people paid with except for the cool phone strap metro pass thingy but it did seem like some stuff was paid with cash from what little I did look at) and when I was in Japan it was hard to find not just an ATM but one that takes out smaller bills. I ain’t have $100s like that to withdraw (and Tokyo’s expensive as it is anyway.) So that’s why I said what I did, because some places do prefer carrying cash versus using paper than plastic but God forbid y’all really think I mean people go around carrying $30,000s 24/7 in their wallets. I meant in some places carrying a bit hefty sum of cash isn’t that uncommon. (I wouldn’t even walk around carrying $100 bills but some do)

This is some sort of stupid ploy by CCM. T-ara have been snapping pics in other countries just fine, usually when you lose thirty grand you call off your vacation, go home and think about what you’ve done.
Again, unless she was making a drug deal, nobody carries thirty large in cash.

She probably lied and said it was stolen to cover up the fact she must of spend it all to get a touch up on her nose and botox. Or like everybody is saying, bitch got suckered out of a coke deal.
She probably didnt even get robbed. She probably put it in a secret account. Smart girl.

If the amount reported is accurate, I assume this was the spending money for the trip for all 14 girls (about $2k each).
On the other hand, I think it’s just as likely that the amount reported lost was grossly exaggerated.
What i dont understand is how the crew let this happen. It wasnt as though the girls were there alone, there must have been tons of staff along with them.
I can only assume they were filming for some kind of show and allowed her to carry the cash for that or something…but even so, the producer or whoever should have been carrying the cash.

Personally I had a hard time believing the amount was right. I though it was a zero to much.
I can imagine her carrying 2300 euros (not that I’d carry that much but sounds reasonable).
But if she did carry 23,000 euros then she must be crazy or whoever told her to keep that amount in her purse.
