I’m not one for boy bands, but I was actually impressed while watching Dalmatian‘s latest music video, “E.R“, and it puzzles me as to why they’re not more popular.
I mean, granted, their name is absolutely ridiculous, but I see nothing in the music, music video, or skill set that would preclude them from becoming a mainstream success.
Was unexpectedly quality.

The problem is that they’re under MC Mong’s label.
Nothing is wrong with Mong’s label. Yeah its not YG SM or JYP but there are some talents there. Unless of course people dont care about actual talent.
I think it’s because MC Mong’s label isn’t popular and his controversy ruined both the company and their contacts to people.
Because of the scandal or because it’s a minor label?

This is one of the few guy groups I follow. What’s nice is how some of the members are older than the usual below 20 age. One of them is 30 and the other is 25. The 27 year old is in the army and the 28 year old left the group. The remaining are 20. Maybe this time they’ll get popular, but I think everyone’s eyes will be on Infinite.
i never checked them out before because their name “dalmatian” made them sound like another cutesy boy group >.< i regret not listening to them earlier now, they're good! and i like the song
Actually, their previous promotion was cutesy, despite their appearances. Their teaser photos were all dark and badass, but then they hit us with some Boyfriend shit.
oh ok i hope they stick with this image instead, it works for them.
Check out Hurt Me and Drive from their latest EP. was very surprised by the tight production these 2 songs offered. and for once they actually utilize the english skills of their members instead of butchering up grammars and pronunciations.
Oh my did they change a lot or what? I admit I didn’t like them at first mainly because they didn’t stand out. Also I have the feeling they might have the worst management/company ever, but must stay I knew their were talented.
What I’ve learned from a k-pop is that being popular has nothing to do with having actual talents.
Hope Dalmatian sticks with this concept… Love it!

So I guess I’ll keep an open ear on them but their debut ROUND 1 song/video were ridiculous. They lost my ears at that point but I guess I’ll keep an open mind from now on…
I didn’t like their debut either.
They really don’t get the credit they deserve
