So Jeremy Scott, who I had never heard of prior to him being hyped as working with 2NE1, has apparently dressed them for their upcoming tour, and as you can see, he took his usual ridiculousness to the next level.
Dumpster diving into 80s American fashion apparently wasn’t ridiculous looking enough, so we get this now.

If the Bart dress was designed differently (or are those pants?) because it’s pretty boring/tacky looking like that (as well as that shirt) and CL’s dress is gorgeous just… the unicorn looks random. If he did something really unique with it then I might like it but… I dunno it’s like some kid walking to school with a big unicorn taped to their shirt or something lol.
The other two I actually like and like the fact that they’re at least looking serious in them (except the one on the left… she looks kinda bleh) But yeah if they could model in them right, they could convince some out there to buy

Well the main thing is working the outfit (and well of course, wearing it because you like it ^^) I wore this black tutu-looking dress thingy with 4-5in heels & at least a 6in-top hat one day around campus and had lots of stares, giggles & crap but didn’t care because I liked it and at least had the guts to walk around wearing what I like instead of being worried about people making fun of me (I mean ick, I gotta see girls boobs are popping out their chest and dudes sagging their pants around so… they can do that, I can wear that) ^_~
I don’t really find anything Jeremy Scott does as being innovative or stunning. He just takes popular images and put them on his clothes. It’s like he’s trying to do something in a Warhol style, but ends up failing miserably.
All of his fashion is pop and shock art wannabe shit. I think he lacks so much creativity. Yet, somehow he is continuously praised as being a great designer.
Yeah, it’s like Ed Hardy meets Ecko unltd. I also heard there’s a new type of sneaker came out with little shackles behind them. SMH
Ed Hardy is one of the worst designers ever. Ecko untld is okay.
Yeah, Jeremy had some adidas shoes with shackles and people thought they represented slavery. They aren’t gonna sell them in stores though. But I saw the shoes and they didn’t remind me off slavery. However, with the shackles or without those shoes are hideous. People want to always throw the race card into things. If people want to buy the shoes let them, and if you think they’re offensive don’t buy them. It’s that simple.
Anways, Jeremy Scott is a terrible designer. Call me a hater, but I know shitty fashion when I see it.
At first, I really didn’t get the shackle part until people pointed out about the slavery thing (yeah, I’m that slow sometimes) I thought it was just a weird way to make the shoes stand out.

Idk, my mind went straight to “prisoner” rather than slave. In old cartoons they always showed prisoners wearing the ball and chain thing with the black and white striped jumpsuit.
I didn’t think it was an allusion to slavery, but I was offended because the shoes were fucking terrible.
…All it is a regular dress with a random retro-looking unicorn placed on the torso. Even I could think of that, but I would just be called a dummy for doing so .__.
Yup, it’s like abstract art. Some big name world-renowned artist can paint 2 yellow dots on a canvas and it’ll be the best most in-dept thing ever while if a 2 year old did it, it’s “Awwwww how cuuuute!!!!” (I draw too and like some abstract art but some of it is like…..)

1) look for an image of something random (i.e. unicorns) and print it as large as you can
2) stick it in a perfectly nice dress
3) make an asian idol wear it

*Sign* Im honestly sick of people calling tacky outfits fashion, this is not being a fashionist. CL is 21 years old and is wearing a unicorn….she is too old for that. Same with minzy and her bart simpson dress. What does this have to do with anything they will be singing about. Im tired of people trying to play up YG artists as people who are not as manufactured as other kpop groups, they might have a bit more musical freedom but at the end of the day they still have an concept and look for each album and this is coming from a YG stan. But seriously, in all honesty, do you really think CL would wear this out in public on her own? I highly doubt it. I honestly wish that 2ne1 would go back to the style that they had during promotions for their first album. It was a much simpler time, and the look was just right for them without being too over the top.
