Far East Movement’s remix of “Live My Life” needed more Tasha and less everybody else

Tasha was basically the only saving grace for the remix of Far East Movement‘s “Live My Life“, which also featured Justin Bieber and Tiger JK.

Sadly, her verse was the only part that had any substance or flow at all. While I don’t expect a ton of that out of FEM or JB, I did expect Tiger JK to strut his stuff, but they decided to waste him by only letting him mumble a bunch of shit.

  1. Should’ve just let Tasha do the entire track and save everyone the trouble. I knew this collab was going to be a hot mess so no surprise there.

lol What was Tiger JK even saying? He aint Sean Paul to be mumbling nonsensical things like that.

And what is Far East Movement even doing right now making tracks like these? At this point, they’re no better than LMFAO with their dance tracks/meaningless rap tracks.

  2. DA FUQ??? That’s like a bad song from Kat de Luna and I feel like I’m insulting her…. Tiger JK sounds like a reggaetoner

  3. Another Account

Tiger JKs part made me let out a Lil’ John-esque “What!!!!” Yoon Mi Rae/Tasha/T for president!

  4. ThatTealChick

    LMAO @ Tiger JK’s parts.

  5. Tiger JK needs to sit the hell down. xD

    • I think they just sampled a drunk Irishman. It’s not really this tiger chap at all.

  6. “…more Tasha and less everybody else…”

    Agree 100%.

  7. JK and JB is something i’ve never expected
Tasha always goes hard, I didn’t understand a thing JK said though
Couldn’t even tell if it was in Korean or English.

  8. If she collab with Cassie or Amerie (idk if she still singing) Tasha would of had some exposure, and probably would made a better single/collab than with fucking FEM.

  9. Are they going to release another song with her on it or was this it?

  10. Besides them having a successful song (G6), they didn’t make any fans correct? I don’t remember seeing them promote in America. Also was that catchy single just a fluke? Meaning..will they have music in the future that will be as successful as G6?

    • Well, “Rocketeer” did good…pretty much the latest single that made anywhere. Everything else flopped big time.

      • By future…eh, prob not. Even collaborating with big stars (Bieber, Snoop Dog) and they still flop, idk what else they can do.

    • Of course they made fans.

What they didn’t do is make it an easier for Asian American artists to breakthrough.

“Rocketeer” was successful. Apart from that, I’m not sure how they will do going forward. They need another catchy hit, basically.

  11. I just listened to it. It wasn’t very good.

I really disliked the incoherent babbling that occurred at some point in the middle.

    FAIL.

  12. It sounded like Tiger JK was having some sort of seizure. And the beat for this song is annoying.

    • So is this tiger dude basically the Korean version of Scatman John?

This Tasha lady sounds basically the same as Devin Tailes doing an impression of Nicky Minge.

I personally cannot see what’s special about any of this. I’m giving it a ‘below average’.

  13. So why are Justin Bieber and Tiger collaborating with them again? I understand that she got featured with FEM but where the hell did JB and JK come from?

Tasha needs to rap about life in a serious tone, that’s when her tracks are best. All these features are just making it impossible for her to be taken seriously.

    • Maybe because ‘speaking in tongues’ is the new rap music. Rap music is so 1980s will smith / kid & play.

We’ve all moved on to ‘tiger-style’ religious babbling, and so should you.

  14. Tasha ripped it. I wish there was more of her. She was really good in this.
