When we last left off, Sashihara Rino was being demoted from AKB48 to HKT48 because of a dating controversy.
Well, she’s apparently not taking it too well, as she freaked the fuck out during a theater performance.
It was recently revealed that Sashihara Rino hyperventilated during AKB48 Team A’s performance at the AKB48 Theater on June 20th.
In the beginning, Sashihara apologized to the audience for her latest scandal and participated in the performance thereafter. However, during the group’s 11th song “AI WO KURE” (Give me love), Sashihara began to hyperventilate. She was absent during the 12th song “Matenrou no Kyori” and finally returned during the MC portion after that.
The fans voiced their concerns about Sashihara’s health, but she later participated in a high five event with the fans after the performance; relieving them of their worries.
I don’t blame her.
She went from being AKB48′s rising star to idol purgatory.

What is the difference between these two bands? I just searched for them on YT and all I find are a thousand screaming girls in langerie 0.o
Surprisingly the lingerie vid you saw actually brought in most fangirls to AKB and brought their fanbase ratio to almost 50:50 male to female fanbase according to Best Artist chart anyway. lol~
Anyway HKT is like…the..loli group. Real lolis. their age is 14, 15 average but they don’t receive that much promotion or attention, or even released a debut single so w/e HKT come from the same theater system like AKB and perform regularly everyday and that’s mostly what they done.
I guess in term of image…AKB is more diverse, did song about suicide like Keibetsu, and their video for Beginner got banned for being violent, did cute songs, did empowering songs like River and Kaze wa Fuiteiru, ballads like Sakura no Ki Ni Narou while HKT is like the “cute” group. And AKB girls are older, 18 – 26 and AKB is the most popular one. Also the different is where they’re from. AKB is from Tokyo while HKT is for the people in Fukuoka because the franchise is about idols you can meet. People in Fukuoka can’t go to Tokyo to see AKB so they create one in their hometown.

Another question: do you know every members name? I feel like that is impossible. And do you find them all to be talented or, like most bands, only have three members that carry the rest?
Ever had classes with 30+ people in school? Same shit with idols, it’s basically learning each classmates name overtime. A lot of people keep saying how it seems impossible to remember most of them but people don’t seem to realize that we do it on a regular basis. It’s a pretty lame excuse to say that 50+ people are too hard to remember when let’s say someone with 100+ friends can recognize every single one of them.
It’s Idol groups, don’t expect too much.

So she freaked during the song ‘Give me love’. Funny considering giving love is what got her ass in trouble in the first place.
