Netizens reach new low, accuse Ulala Session’s Yoon Taek of faking stage four cancer

Ulala Session‘s Yoon Taek, who has stage four stomach cancer, appeared on the July 4th episode of SBS‘s “One Night Of Entertainment“, basically to tell netizens that no, he’s not faking what is probably a terminal illness.

Yeah, really.

As fans already know, Yuntaek was diagnosed with stage four stomach cancer, but with his upbeat and lively personality and performances on TV, some started to question whether he was indeed suffering from cancer like it had been reported.

Yuntaek expressed, “A lot of people didn’t believe that I had cancer because they saw me promoting as a singer on TV.”

So if he acts as if nothing is wrong, he’s faking stomach cancer. If he acts lethargic and depressed, then he’s being lazy and ungrateful. If he acts angry and resentful, then he’s an asshole who doesn’t love his fans.

How the fuck is he supposed to act?

THE GUY HAS FUCKING CANCER

Holy shit, they are fucking shameless though, seriously. Probably everybody reading this has lost somebody they know to cancer, and I’m no exception, so to see them heaping more shit on this guy’s plate is just fucking unreal.

To help clear things up, his doctor came on air to discuss Yuntaek’s health, stating, “He is diagnosed with stage four stomach cancer and is past the point of complete recovery.”

What a ridiculous fucking thing to have to do. Seriously though. Seriously.

Despite the clear up, some still seemed to doubt whether he was telling the truth. Yuntaek stated, “I think it’s funny that I even have to explain myself on TV like this.” When asked how his current condition was, he replied, “Do you want me to explain my state honestly, or give you a made-for-TV reply? Because if I answer honestly, it’ll get sad.”

He continued, “It’s hard for me. After our schedules, the members will massage me while I rest in bed. It’s also hard having to deal with the different side effects every time I switch anticancer treatments.”

To the people that still don’t believe his battle with cancer, Yuntaek expressed, “I can understand why they would think that. But I think it’s strange that I have to explain that it is true that I’m sick. It’s like saying I’m a man when I am in fact a man.”

There’s the kicker. They still don’t believe him. Why? Because delusional psychopaths are that way because they don’t respond to logic, so why bother? Just ask Tablo.

Why does he say “it’ll get sad”? Because stage four stomach cancer has a four-percent survival rate.

Stay classy, you fucking pieces of shit.

  1. These people are really fucking stupid. Why would someone lie about having cancer?

These people must have no life’s and want to make others miserable.

Even though there is a small chance of him surviving his cancer I hope you gets well.

  2. That’s so heartbreaking…netizens are the bane of anyone’s existence. You get a little bit of fame and attention, and they just want to yank it away from you ’cause they’re miserable piles of turd.

This is much less serious, but I remember netizens talking crap about Lee Joon from MBLAQ in the past for dozing off during a variety show and they said he deserved losing his admission to Seoul University. Turns out the guy was suffering insomnia and bipolar disorder.

I already think so lowly of netizens at it is, but whatever ounce of respect I had for them is completely destroyed. Idiots.

    • We are all netizens, but those specific people, yeah.

Also, mental illness is not exactly accepted in Asia like it is in America.

  3. Oppasapervert

I always find it so interesting the way Asian culture takes what people say on the internet to heart.

I could give a flying fuck if I was in that position. Oh noes an angry internet mob is after me… they might type me to death.

The disconnect between everyday life and people online should be made. Most of the people that say hurtful things online are neck beard shut ins without anything else to do but complain.

It really is baffling to me that any stock is put into a group of anons like that.

    • Netizen culture (may I call it that?) is a big thing in Korea. Because it’s such a wired country, I believe the media endorses netizens’ opinions as some sort of consensus between the general public (although it’s not always the case). It explains why Tablo and Yuntaek have to come to public and answer questions that unknown people have raised out of their psychopathic minds.

This whole situation is so sad I don’t even know what to say. I thought netizens couldn’t reach a new low, but here it is. I also hate that Allkpop can just translate this piece of news without a single input on how absurd it is; it’s bad enough that the Korean media is subjected to netizens, but why should the international K-pop sites act the same?

      • That’s because AKP regurgitates anything that it gets from Nate or some other Korean news site, only in English.

I kind of wish they had kept some of that pizzazz they had going for them back in 2009 when they were like “WTF” when something like this came out.

        • I’m pretty sure they get paid by entertainment companies to spout out this worshipping crap too. So it’s all about money.

        • Entertainment companies buy advertising to promote, but as far as I know, they don’t get paid to write articles, no.

More of a quid pro quo deal involving promotion.

      • They serve their role.

It’s not their fault, per se.

    • Celebrities have to care what the public thinks though, it’s different for people like you and me who don’t make money off image.

  4. Is this just Korean netizens or international saying this shit? This is fucking ridiculous and maybe they should consider enrolling in medical school instead of blabbering on the internet if they wanna act like they know shit about cancer

Netizens (i guess, most people in general) are the worst because of this: they have no background knowledge, no experience whatsoever, on a subject, but act like they’re in a position to give their input.

    No bitch.

  5. That’s so fucking sad.
If I was in his position I’d mope and do NOTHING; he actually tries to continue to perform while he’s in this state, and he gets shit for it? God, people are such assholes. I’m so fucking glad I’m not a Korean celeb/idol.

  6. This sucks, they don’t even know the guy.
He’s living out his dream while he can because he doesn’t want to sit there and wallow in his own pity.
Is that so hard so understand?

  7. Seriously… what do they expect from him to do? *sighs* He shouldn’t even have to bring his doctor on TV to convince anyone.. it’s none of their effin business anyway and it’s up to them if they believe him or not. So I dunno, they should just go back into Kpop lala land in their headphones and just not get involved with reality if they’re gonna act like that.

It’s seriously when certain people get too warped from TV. Like they expect him to be a dramatic movie character with no hair on his body, pale and coughing all the time? It just really show the ignorance of those specific people who doubt his illness because he ‘looks too healthy to have cancer.’

  8. Da fuq, really. I can only feel but respect for this guy, he trains and performs even with all the medical treatment he has to deal with, yet those idiots sitting in their fat asses feel like they are in the position to doubt of all the effort he has to pull every fucking day. Fucking idiots

  9. nana-ate-my-nana

I faked having cancer once to get laid.

    • Shameless bastard. You’ve got my respect.

    • So they fucked you even you have cancer…? Da fuc kinda slut you was messing with?

      • nana-ate-my-nana

        lol wtf.
you know cancer isn’t an std right? why wouldnt someone fuck someone with cancer?

        • Uh, http://media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m1yyazSQgz1r1h6e5.gif
Why not? Why would I? It don’t even sound right for one. Ex; “I have leukemia. Wanna fuck?”

        • Cause that’s not how you’re suppossed to do it, my precious cum diva.

It’s gotta be something like “I am extremely sick and will die in 2 months. In my last 2 months I am going to save 500 puppies from drowning and write letters to the government so they save some fucking beautiful trees in the rain forest so parrots can keep on doing filthy bird orgies there. Also I still have an extremely huge dick and lots of money I want to spend while I am alive. Interested in mating?”
I am sure the bitches would be glued to your balls.

        • nana-ate-my-nana

You’d fuck him for the same reason you’d fuck any dood :dunno: If he’s hot or whatever…youd have to be a fucking bitch to not fuck a dude just because he had cancer..

and the pity angle works awesome…bitches feel terrible when you drop the cancer bomb and they are all up on your dick in seconds.

        • Patients going through chemo/radiation therapy can be breeding grounds for all kind of nasty stuffs. I wouldn’t fuck someone with cancer unless I was already fucking her on daily basis.

    • Fuck faking cancer, get or fake having a broken arm or leg. Major pussy magnet.

  10. Welp, the Korean government doesn’t protect freedom of speech. You can get your ass thrown in jail for defamation. These people should watch their backs, they saw what happened to certain members of Tajinyo when they ran their mouths.

    • Freedom of speach and defamation are two different things. The netizens do have freedom of speach as they can write whatever they want about anything, but if they accuse someone of fraud (Tablo’s case), they have to prove it, otherwise it’s defamation. Most of the time netizens don’t have anything to back up their claims except their own assumptions, yet the artists are the ones to come forward and clarify the situation themselves.

      • Uh, that’s defamation. I meant in the US, since the country has the First Amendment, free speech is protected so while you can get sued for defamation, it is almost never a criminal offence unlike in Korea where it IS a criminal offence.

The fact that you can get in jail for writing lies means you can’t exactly say what you want.

      • Also, it’s “speech”, motherfuckers.

    • lol @ me mispelling speech twice

  11. I don’t feel sorry for him (I don’t tend to feel sorry for people I respect) I feel sorry for korean society.

This man makes good music, performances, variety shows, I read somewhere his wife is pregnant too, all this while fighting with a stage four cancer.

A society where such a person is attacked instead of admired and cherished, can just be pitied

  12. That’s so dumb. I remember seeing some asshats saying shit like that on AKP, stuff like “well he seems so energetic, maybe he’s just faking it. Didn’t he say he had this disease a few years ago, and then say he was cured?” blah blah blah. It’s like why can’t these morons die instead. =.=”

  13. I really admire him. I act like a complete bitch for the littlest things, but this guy is able to do all the stuff he does and keep a smile on his face and stay classy. He deserves all the praise in the world.

  14. From my opinion, he is probably performing again to be able to sing his heart out since he likes it and to not sob in a corner about his problems. It’s a way to forget the pain, a mask.

He’s brave for doing so. I complain so much, I don’t even know how I can handle myself. He needs respect and more love from others. “Birds always pick at the best fruit.”

Seriously, who’s the idiot that’s going to fake a disease like that? Come on now.

  15. What fuckers.

  16. The really fucking messed up part is that if he passes away, everyone will go, “Oops, I guess he was right!”

  17. Do these delusional psycopaths mainly occur in Korea?
