Open World Entertainment CEO Jang Seok Woo got himself in even more hot water recently for threatening victims of his alleged sexual abuse.
It has been revealed that Jang Seokwoo, CEO of Open World Entertainment, has been making threatening phone calls to the victims. Telling them that, “If you don’t settle, we won’t stop”, Jang Seokwoo’s side had been able to make various people sign settlements and have them retract their statements.
Upon discovering his acts, Jang Seokwoo was warned by the judge on the latest court date on June 29th. “Do not make threatening phone calls to the victims anymore. Coercing and threatening the victims is like injuring them twice. If the threats continue, there is no way that it won’t affect the trials.” In the previous trial, which happened early June, Jang Seokwoo was already warned not to contact victim A again.
Alrighty then. What a fucking piece of shit. Holy fuck.
Worse yet? It’s working and it shouldn’t even surprise you.
As earlier revealed, a few of the girls involved in the case have made a settlement with Jang Seokwoo’s side and have withdrawn their accusations. It’s been stated that over $10,000 was given out in settlement money. Upon hearing this, the victims were questioned and gave conflicting statements, saying that victim B only received $2,000. Victims C and D were said not to have received anything. The court added that, “Both sides’ statements are entirely different so it is confusing. The confirmation of the money being given to the victims will be independently reported on and once again we will be able to stabling the truth.”
Seems disgusting, right? But that’s basically the system. Not saying it’s right, but that’s how it is.
It’s like how in Japan, once you go to trial, you are basically fucked because they won’t find you not guilty. In that same vein, wealthy people get away with a lot in Korea because they can basically pay hush money (they call it “blood money” but whatever) to victims in exchange for not having to go to trial. Happens a lot, actually.
Regardless, this shows why victims are hesitant to come forward and effectively demonstrates what a filthy industry the entertainment business can be at times, especially in regards to children and teens.
Asian Junkie Asian pop. Without discretion.
Man, if he goes to jail, that’s like 20% of your material gone lol.
I can’t post hot chicks if he goes to jail?
wat
:o
AJ: 20% Open World CEO stories, 20% Nana articles, 20% Lee Min Jung articles, 35% other Kpop stuff, 5% Jpop. Or something like that.
Not too many other scandals around.
Wait! he IS still the CEO and he is NOT in jail yet?? and now he is threatening the victims too??
JUST.LOVELY.
Is like Korea is the Vatican and that imbecil is a rapist priest
Ikr. To have money and power in Korea is just something else.
You can’t just throw people in jail.
If it were here in my country, even if he were not judged probably he would be lynched by the people.
That’s equally pointless.
I know, but try saying that to outraged people.
Yeah, I know.
Only human, I suppose.
I surely know where I’m moving when I get filthy rich.
Join me and together we’ll ass rape this country with an iron fist.
Good luck finding asses
You’re coming with me too.
@jChang4u: yea, be my filthy slave and i’ll get you all the fine asses.
Also I have realized that you must like me a lot since you keep stalking me on my perv comments. Let’s finally get it over with and bang so you can get into my glorious pants.
They did this in the states. Law IS a fucking business. Those who fight for the legit reason get paid and those who do the crime pay up.
Look up drug and sex trafficing. The two most serious global crimes that the world (meaning universially nations have either may parts of this aspect of drug and prositution legal or add restriction or strenghten the sentence). Yet still exist and people on both end make quite a deal of money.
People wanna get high. So the “war on drugs” will never go away. Everybody likes to fuck even if you have to pay. So prositution the oldest of crimes will never go away.
This court case whatever thing pissing me off.. the Zimmerman BS crap pissing me off… *shakes head* Ideals and the way things ‘should be’ rarely ever are…
Zimmerman should have been convicted by now but, of course, a half white man still has white privilege and a young black male is still worth 3/5 of a person, just like the Constitution always said.
Justice anywhere you are is a stretch. As long as you have the money, you can pretty much get away with anything.
And he has many many many many racist white men/people raising money for him too and supporting him. I’m sure if my black behind went and shot someone who I thought looked ‘suspicious’ guaranteed they’ll arrest me and put me in for life.
I feel like you’re being racist here also because you failed to recognize that Zimmerman guy is also Mexican, and definitely looks more Mexican then he does white.
He’s not getting privileges because he’s white, but because there’s controversy on whether or not he did it as an act of self defense.
I’m not being racist (a term people throw around too loosely now) nor have I failed to recognized that he’s also half Mexican. But the fact still remains that many racist white people still support & defend what he did and even help raise funds (…how else did he get the money for bail?) Not sure if you meant to reply to the person above (because they do have a reply button on their name…) or not but…. I’m not trying to get into a debate about the off-topic subject.. I only mentioned it because still it’s an injustice case just as this article shows injustice (well, in a sense… some of the victims gave into the settlement)
Honestly, I think people don’t use the term racist enough. For someone who doesn’t know all the details of the case you seem to be quite the judge. Although there are many parts of the case that’s unjust, it’s predominately on the other camp. People are being racially motivated to just “fight” Zimmerman. They’re injecting an disproportional amount of racial tensions into the case. Let me tell you something, judges take into account all funds that defendants have. Although Zimmerman did lie a bit the first time he went back and got a new bail amount. Which he reportedly paid through a bail company. He paid the 1 mil through some donations, and a heck lot of collateral. The fact you implied Zimmerman shot Trayvon Martin out of only suspicion shows your woeful ignorance on the case.
Oh, and not to mention political reasons. Special Prosecutor Corey did some dirty stuff when she presented the affidavit, downright ” irresponsible and unethical” according to Professor Alan Dershowitz
Yes, these days people DO throw the word “racist” all the time into everything. I’m not saying this doesn’t apply to the Zimmerman case (so I do wish you would kinda read what I typed) I have not said anywhere that people didn’t want to ‘fight’ Zimmerman. Just as many people want to see him dead for what he did, there’s just as many people who thought Martin should be dead just because. No, I’m not trying to be ‘quite the judge’ because nowhere have I really ‘judged’ anyone. I’m saying injustice is injustice. Sorry, was under the impression and also following what my family members, (who have been following this case since day 1) that that Zimmerman decided to go after someone because he looked like he was going to do something. (if it’s ignorance for me to think that because that wasn’t what ‘really’ happened then that’s my bad but I think if you, yourself, have said there’s many alterations of stuff and sensationalism then it just proves really no speculator knows what *really* happened) But I still stand by my second comment on here.
That was meant for amyrose :p
I just want to point out that you keep criticizing Zimmerman’s “side” for having many racist white men support him, but isn’t that same true for the other side? There are plenty of racist black men support Martin’s side going as far to put a bounty on his head.
You have been judging, it’s quite clear that you think Zimmerman is guilty.
There’s nothing wrong with judging. “Not Guilty” is different from “Innocent” after all.
The part where it gets twisted is when people start supporting matters of justice based on race and not the truth.
That’s all I’m going to say on this. This discussion is always a clusterfuck no matter how you use logic and reason.
He’s also half hispanic….
I didn’t read much into it but from the little stuff I have, it seems like he made a stupid mistake of getting out of his car and used extra force, though he was attacked.
I was iffy on the prosecution but that shady fundraising just tipped it over the edge against him.
Yeah~ which is why I said “half white man” since a lot of white people refuse to believe that Hispanics can also be white. The information about being attacked is sketchy. It’s his word vs. a dead kid’s, and witnesses who did see/hear fighting either had an unclear view or fuzzy recollection.
This case is so screwed up, but people are missing the point of it all. Black people are mad because the kid was obviously racially profiled, something quite common if you’ve lived in Florida at one point.
The Zimmerman case is a lot more complicated than you’re making it out to be. All the major news outlets and civil rights leaders have been sensationalizing this case like no other and have been purposely driving the public to a certain opinion. Just look at CBS and their careful editing of the 911 tapes, Al Sharpton, etc. The actual details also paint a complex situation. Under the stand your ground law he is fine, it’s been verified that he was beaten up and was in a serious altercation with Trayvon Martin. The most important details are these, Zimmerman isn’t held to the same standard of law enforcement officers and so can legally follow Trayvon Martin, flaky evidence that point towards him being racist, just because you follow someone doesn’t mean you can’t claim self-defense, (ie. starting an argument in a bar but almost get beaten to death so you initiate self defense), and he’s being charged with second degree murder, which requires a deprave mind which I doubt the state can prove. Personally, I don’t like how the media and others are exploiting this and putting a dangerous amount of personal racial agenda into this case.
I’ve been following this case even before the media blew it up and I’ve always seen it for what it was: a kid who was killed because he was racially profiled, stalked, and then killed. Yes, the media blew everything out of proportion but that racial notion still remains. To think that this case doesn’t have a racial motive behind it is ludicrous.
Yes, Zimmerman had defensive wounds but does that mean that he didn’t confront and provoke Martin, or was the original aggressor? Trayvon could’ve landed a few damaging blows out of HIS defense as well so self-defense works both ways but it’s his word against Trayvon’s and Trayvon can’t speak for himself so we’ll never really know what happened.
Stand Your Ground doesn’t apply to people who confront their would-be attacker anyways. Stalking may not be illegal but it wasn’t right either.
But of course he’s being overcharged so he might just walk away just like Casey Anthony did. Florida is stupid like that. The local prosecutor should have been able to originally charge him for manslaughter.
Regardless of who provoked who, Trayvon Martin presumably excessively pummeled Zimmerman which allowed him to call self defense when he shot him. I’m inclined to believe that Martin threw the first punch which only helps Zimmerman.
I suggest you read this article. http://www.cnn.com/2012/05/30/opinion/nejame-zimmerman-racial-profiling/index.html
Whether Zimmermin was white or hispanic, who cares, fact of the matter is he should be in jail because he killed someone. And it was not self defense because he wouldn’t have followed the boy had he listen to the police. Second degree murder is what this is if not first.
I don’t know what the fuck I am doing. The vodka fairy is in my pants.
Money means way to much in Korea, but w/e I don’t seeing it change anytime soon.
He isn’t the first rich guy to get away with shit, and definitely won’t be the last.
Oh, what a surprise. Lotta old miserable rich guys tend get in trouble about these kind of things, and when the going gets tough, they simply just buy their way out of it. smh…
I need to get over to Korea, and blackmail one of those rich old dudes.
“Sure I’ll have sex with you…” *press record* “NO, STOP, YOU PERV WTF YOU DOING STOP…” *stop recording* “Okay that will be 20k. In dollars, please. :)”
Really? A two thousand dollar settlement?
How much is it worth? Prease.
?
Well it’s bad publicity for Open World so I doubt he’ll ever make money again, right?
Probably will shut down the company and work behind-the-scenes elsewhere.
Generally how it’s done. That’s what they do with managers who get a bad rep from abusing artists/fans.
johnny seems to be doing fine
It’s different in Japan. They control the media and what people think that way.
Both are bad. You can decide which is worse.
If this was America, that man’s reputation would be done for. Jail or not. No one wants to admit to what goes on in those companies, hell I’m willing to bet nicki Minaj been around, but who can prove it?
I feel bad for those poor trainees though, then again, they probably would have let that shit continue because Korea has its shit so backwards.
He’s probably done for in Korea too.
Well, he was never relevant to begin with.
This worthless piece of shit.
All I know is, his fat ass should of just mind his own damn business and listened to the dispatcher and none of that fuckery would of happened in the first place. He killed him, end of story. IDGAF if Travon hit him first and he shot him “out of self defense”. Zimmerman fucked with him first.
And they had to nerve to justify his nosy ass, “Well, it ain’t illegal to follow him while having the gun with him even though he went against the dispatchers’ orders blah blah blah” So I guess it’s fucking right for me to follow someone that looks like a hood and think they going to do something bad even though I could care less and it’s not my business of what that person is doing if it doesn’t involved me. It might be legal, but you’d have to be a hell of a punk bitch to do so.
This supposed to be a reply!!!!!…Whatever -__-”
And that’s why you’re not a judge.
And neither are you.
At least I try to keep myself informed properly.
@outsiderkpop Properly informed of what? You think he’s innocent from killing Travon? I hope your head isn’t as big as this “ego” you got stinking up here occasionally.
@QueenBey He killed Trayvon, but I believe he’s not guilty of the crime he’s being charged of. However, you don’t see me mixing up one’s own sense of morals with the laws a person is bind to. Also, Zimmerman did have an interest in what Martin did, he was a captain of the neighborhood watch.
Part of my previous comment is directed towards Lakorn, and to answer the question, properly informed of the case.
Yeah I’m just stopping with him because apparently you can’t have opinions on a case, and it seems he’s trying to twist what people are saying just because they’re not stating it *shrugs*
But anywho, did you hit the reply button to someone’s comment though you weren’t logged in? Yeah I hate when that happens >_> Thinking I’m replying to someone but I’m not since I wasn’t logged in initially ^^;
@Minahmyu outsiderdouche needs to get over himself http://media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m6t56gBmte1qjhrip.gif
Anyways, yes! I click the “Log in to reply” or whatever it says, whenever I need to log in.

They need to throw his ass in jail already.
Money means too much to just accept it over the fact that you have been wronged in one of the wrost ways I have ever known.
He is disgusting for trying to make settlements and constantly contacting the victims. This makes me sick.
Yuck.
