T-ara gangs up to bully Hwayoung? + Kim Kwang Soo is gonna make an announcement

So aside from 2PM‘s Nichkhun‘s controversy, the latest scandal to rock K-pop is a girl group bullying controversy surrounding T-ara and member Hwayoung.

According to a Nate Pann post, the girls have been publicly bullying Hwayoung through their Twitter interactions because Hwayoung wasn’t able to make a stage in Japan due to her leg injury.

The group’s tweets have since been deleted, but they were captured prior to being erased.

It started with Hyomin‘s tweet on July 25th, where she wrote, “A difference in determination ^^ Let’s all get determined, fighting!!!!!!”

Indirectly, it appears to infer that Hwayoung is not as determined as the rest of the members.

Jiyeon replied, “A difference in determination indeed ^^ Respectfully ^^^ Always humbly ^^ I’d like to applaud the acting prodigy ^^.”

The acting prodigy, eh? Probably a reference to Jiyeon thinking that Hwayoung was faking her pain to get out of performing.

Eunjung re-tweeted Hyomin to add, “Just like how your position makes who you are, determination also plays a part… Sigh, how disappointing. You should know to look after those around you.”

It can’t get much more obvious at this point, right?

Soyeon added to the mess when she also replied to Hyomin by writing, “Difference in determination + respect + care <3 Let's all find strength today too ^^^^*”

Hwayoung then tweeted, “Sometimes determination isn’t enough to keep you going. I get upset at times like this but I trust that the sky will give a positive meaning to it… God knows everything, right? Hoot~”

She seems to defend herself against the attacks from fellow members.

Her twin, Hyoyoung, then tweeted, “My other half is suffering. It breaks my heart. No matter what anyone says, Ryu, you can do it.”

Hwayoung tweeted back to her, “…. I only have you. Ah…”

Later, Hyoyoung tweeted again, “What’s the point if you have a pretty face? Your heart has to be pretty. Is an injured person not a person to you?”

She basically publicly threw a ton of shade at T-ara.

Boram didn’t stay quiet either, also re-tweeting Jiyeon’s and Hyomin’s tweets to add her own applause to Hwayoung’s supposed acting skills, writing, “Clap… clap clap clap!!!”

Classy.

To this point, their company hadn’t come out to publicly confirm or deny anything, but when they finally did, Core Contents Media only made things worse.

CCM have ackowledged that these were insults by saying that the members would never tweet anything like this. They said that the members’ twitter accounts were simultaneously hacked and that the hackers would be prodecuted.

So now, because of CCM, the question is not whether they were insults or not, but whether the accounts were hacked or not.

So now the cover story has to be that their accounts were all simultaneously hacked to diss Hwayoung. If that seems impossible to do and insane to do, it’s because it is.

Probably sensing that a better explanation had to be formed or that there is indeed some gigantic change coming to T-ara once again, Kim Kwang Soo will make a major announcement on July 30th.

On the 28th, Core Contents Media shared that it would make a major announcement about T-ara on July 30th.

Through official reports released to the media on the 28th, Core Contents Media revealed, “CEO Kim Kwang Soo, who is currently in Japan for T-ara’s concert, will return to Korea on the 30th, and at 1 pm, he will make a major announcement regarding T-ara.”

Who knew constantly changing members, working them until they’re almost dead, and then calling them lazy would lead to problems?!

Nobody knows what the announcement is about yet, but one thing that’s for sure is that there’s a ton of problematic stuff going on in the background that we’re unaware of. It’s likely the same for most girl groups, but T-ara is just one of the few to vent it publicly.
