T-ara is releasing a single called “Sexy Love” next month, which just reinforces my belief that Kim Kwang Soo will work them until members die and then replace the dead members with his pedobait.
T-ara has revealed that they will be releasing a new electro-club dance track titled “Sexy Love” next month!
Scheduled for release on August 15th, “Sexy Love” will mark the girls’ fourth collaboration with hit composer Shinsadong Tiger. The song is considered the fourth installment following “Bo Peep Bo Peep“, “Roly Poly“, and “Lovey Dovey“, and is expected to continue with the same success.
The girls will also be going for a new type of change on stage for “Sexy Love” with a pantomime inspired robot dance.
Here’s the thing though, as of July 15th, they still haven’t stopped promoting “Day By Day“, and I don’t think that was their goodbye stage either. So at most, T-ara figure to get two weeks to learn how to perform “Sexy Love”, thus basically securing that they will have zero downtime between promotions.
T-ara’s Hyomin and Jiyeon have already been hospitalized with fatigue, and Eunjung has developed obsessive compulsive disorder and narcolepsy or something. As such, I do begin to wonder at what point Core Contents Media CEO Kim Kwang Soo lays the fuck off. When one dies?
I know idols are overworked as a general rule of thumb, and I do think celebrities should expect a certain level of exhaustion and difficulties, but this is getting to the point where you can call it abuse.
CCM runs on T-ara’ sweat, blood and tears. There’s no end to it…
I bet one of them are either going to snap or become hospitalized for serious mental and physical injuries. Or, in the worst case scenario, one of them commits suicide and we begin to the see the great reform of the Korean music industry.
my money is on boram or soyeon, boram already has all the reasons to commit suicide. and soyeon just has a murderous look, i barely ever see her smile its fucking freaky is you ask me. at least the other members bother to have facial expressions during performances

For T-ara it seems like the CEO doesn’t give a fuck. With Infinite, I think its more of desperation. Since their success with Be Mine, Woollim has promoted Infinite and done concerts as much as possible. It’s to the point where Infinite dances has deteriorated into a mess. I sense that Infinite’s CEO thinks that only by doing so much will they make a profit.
I’m really curious as to the expenses and revenue of an idol agency. Just how much do you need to train a decent set of of idols and how much money do you make back if they are moderately successful.

I mean an agency or a company is not just idols+CEO you have to count the ENTIRE staff.
And judging on the idols life style I don’t think that they get alot of money even if they’re from the big 3.
I have reason to doubt an idols’ supposedly high income for a group like CN Blue or something. I was watching WGM with Seohyun and idk if he was faking it or not, but he couldn’t buy her a $300 guitar. Even average artists from the states would have that kind of money.
From the big three though? Obviously we never know how much they make and the media usually inflates that shit but for artists like Big Bang they can afford some nice clothes and stuff. I saw TOP wearing a Rolex once…
Yeah, a company has the salary of an entire staff to worry about before paying an idol. Plus idols get housing and food so I doubt they get much pay unless they’re mad successful like Big Bang.

The reason they make shit is to cover the overhead/risk, plus the fact that idols are basically a replaceable, never-ending entity.
They are just a front, really. Not like they are artists who write/compose their own music, they’re reliant on the company for their shit.

Half of t-ara still has nothing to worry about. If we look at each member’s schedules, some of them barely have anything to do….(we all know who I am referring to) it’s only Eunjung jiyeon and hyomin with very packed schedules. Kks doesnt even bother to find anything for the rest of them to do. With the little free time he has after setting aside some petting time with his new 12-y-o giraffe, he probably gets back on the streets looking for more kids to creep on. Although I am happy that I get to see so much of T-ara in these 2 months, my heart will ache when I see one of these hot pieces of ass die because kks was too busy being a giant douche. K I’m done.

“no one cares” is a bit extreme, they have less fans becaus kks has nothing planned for them. But even fans will think it a pity if one of them were to leave the group.

Tara could use a break and a Japanese single to get more sales. I feel kim kwang soo is like yang hyun suk is to 2ne1. They have enough hype and fame but hunger for more. In their minds these female idols groups are not up to standards. So new concepts, different music, and new members or just hide the useless ones better for 2ne1 case.
Either way all you get is an overworked miserable idols at the end.

I think that CCM cracked down on t-ara to make sure that’s not gonna happen again which is leading to them being worked to death.
Kara is with DSP Media, but yeah – after that event I think all the media companies wanted to reassert their control over their “properties”. KKS threatening to replace members of T-ara is certainly one way to do it.
Although at this point I wonder if half the girls in the group would even be upset about being kicked out. They’d probably be more relieved than anything.
Kara had a lot more leverage than T-ara will ever have, though.

I heard Big Bang got a nice bit of time off when they planned to run away a few years ago.
They spent their time in Europe for those 2 weeks but hyomin was still working to help out with gangkiz. Poor girl barely got any rest at all

In the grander scheme of things, I read somewhere that this kind of “work-until-you-drop” ethic is coveted in Asian countries. I have to wonder if Koreans–at least the old-fashion, traditional ones–think that this is okay and that everyone should have the same “drive” that T-ara has.
Is that why suicide rates are so high? I wouldn’t be surprised if that was a huge part of the reason.
suicide rates are sky-high in Asia for a multitude of reasons:
1. end of the school year exams basically decide your life for you. if you don’t do well, you’re screwed over. which leads to intense amounts of pressure being put on teens by their parents/families (b/c in asian countries – well, at least in india – it’s expected for the children to take care of/completely support their parents when they are older) and students killing themselves before exams cause they can’t handle the pressure or students killing themselves AFTER the exams because they did poorly and are now fucked for life
2. well, a lot of people end up being in jobs they don’t want/aren’t interested in, mainly cuz it pays well at it’s an ideal and expected job to have in asian society (something that you’d imagine paying well, usually a doctor, engineer or lawyer) and they get no enjoyment out of it which leads to depression which leads to sucide
3. and finallllyyyyy ~ mental illnesses aren’t something that are discussed/treated properly in asia. and by treated properly, I mean that they aren’t really accepted, it’s very taboo or people don’t think it exists or they just think you should hold it in and get over it by yourself. also if you admit to having some sort of mental issue it’s sort of mars your families reputation as well as your own in asia. like when I told my parents that I was pretty sure I was depressed, they physically beat me until I blacked out (normally when they beat me they don’t do it that severely) and told me to never tell anyone what I had told them about being depressed because it would ruin the family name. so since these mental illnesses don’t get properly treated, things like suicide are inevitable.
