At a press conference for some award on July 10th, ICONIQ, while addressing the rumors of her relationship with GACKT and also his comments, basically confirmed that they are dating.
ICONIQ was previously reported to be in a relationship with GACKT, who commented, “I’ll ask her in bed next time,” during an event for his stage play, ‘MOON SAGA~Yoshitsune Hiden~‘. When asked, “Did he ask you in bed?“, she replied, “Yes~.” With a big smile, ICONIQ confessed her feelings for GACKT saying, “I’ll leave it up to your imagination, but I like him very much.”
Less direct that GACKT was, but she honestly doesn’t give two fucks what people think either.

She doesn’t care what people think because a lot of Japanese people already hate her as it is, so she has nothing to lose.
I hear that said a lot but I never see any evidence it’s true.
When she debuted, there were a lot of comments from Japanese people hating her for what she said about Japan while she was on Korea on ICONIQ’s YT videos. I’m not sure if it’s just a vocal minority again since these people have a somewhat legit reason to not like her instead of the ones who hate the Zainichis just because they’re Korean.

She said some negative comments about Japan while she was a member of Sugar. I doubt I’ll be able to find the videos now since Avex loves taking everything down.
