I can’t type “Koreaboo” or “Soompi” when I comment on AKP… I say koreaboo as an insult… not for the actual site like c’mon. This is literally typing those words, not trying to post a link. (it says comment must be approved by moderator)
Try even MENTIONING this site in those other sites. People be going ham xD
“I DON’T KNOW WHY YOU GO THERE. THAT’S NOT A REAL SITE, THEY’RE A BUNCH RACIST SAND TROLLS AND THEY JUST WANT TALK ABOUT THE NEGATIVE THINGS. THOSE LOSERS NEED A LIFE.”
Good Lord, that child is too big to be carried around like that anymore. You can tell the mother had a hard time keeping her leverage. Clearly she been spoiling her child too much. http://media.tumblr.com/tumblr_ls5vguJHwr1qfamtt.gif
I honestly don’t like it when people joke around with NK. When people have a joke like “North Korea, Best Korea” etc. I get annoyed. While the people saying the joke have well-meaning intentions, it just belittles the actual big issue up there. People stop thinking of it as the shitty place that needs help, but instead as the butt of a joke. It attracts the wrong sort of attraction and ultimately affects the people suffering there. http://imgur.com/a/648Mv
Try telling that to the South Koreans rofl. NK gets help/resources from other countries all the time and they don’t even use it on their people so fuck them.
I don’t get what you’re trying to say. Try saying it again clearly. Are you saying that Koreans joke around with NK too much or that they’re uninformed. And are you criticizing that NK gets help or supporting it.
I’m saying if you want people to stop shitting on North Korea then tell South Koreans to stop first. People already know they’re suffering and its not our fault, it’s a known fact but even if people do donate(which they do) the charity doesn’t exactly goes towards the North Korean people themselves. They threaten with nuclear warheads but want other countries donations which is exactly why they get so much crap. No one likes them, SK’s don’t even like people who sympathize or associate with them.
Fuck North Korea(in the sense of government and not the regular people).
To put it simpler – enlighten South Koreans about North Korea before you shine your benevolent attitudes towards us.
It’s not the actual joking about them that bothers me. It’s the result of that. It numbs us. It makes us ignore or begin to feel desensitized to what’s happening there. It’s on par to Aushwitz, if not worse. Yet what is happening? Jackshit. Donations here and there. Once in a while a minor percentage of the general public will feel galvanized to do something, only for that wave of concern to wash away. I for one, can’t joke about North Korea or its refugees after seeing a documentary. It bothers the shit out of me, I see what happens and I can’t in good humor joke about them.
Oh and to actually address what you said. Why does SK have to be enlightened first? They already have people informing people there. Why can’t I inform people here at the same time? Is there a law against that? Am I breaking a set of ethics or morals?
Donate to charities like I have mentioned. Put more effort into the inevitable Reunification plan. When we become one Korea is going to become one shitty place to live. And start pressuring Iran and other nations to stop buying their fucking weapons. There are plenty of things to do, you’re just not looking.
Basically. Why? Because racism and homophobia is such a non-issue, at least in the states. Have you seen me extend my racism and homophobia out of the states? Racism in the states, what the fuck is it going to do. Belittle the actual issues going on? Like what. Affirmative action? It’s an overblown issue that’s been chugged on with the “woe on me” complex. Granted, there are actual issues, such as the poverty and the viscous cycles going on, but that doesn’t really have to do with racism.. More like education. Homosexuality. I honestly view marriage as a religious ceremony. So let the religious people have it. The Feds should’ve never interfered in the first place. So there’s that. North Korea, do you see people dying by the droves in the States for the reasons of racism or homosexuality? Do you see people resorting to cannibalism to live another day? Do you see gulags committing crimes against humanity regularly in the US?
Racism and homophobia are serious issues, but not big issues. North Korea on the other hand is a big AND serious one. It really doesn’t help that NK is something that hits close to home.
“I honestly view marriage as a religious ceremony. So let the religious people have it.”
Hahaha, NO. I’m going to let the people who are in love with eachother, no matter their sexual orientation have it.
They have people in South Korea that do help out North Koreans but that’s only a minority. Look at SK’s comments about NK and you’ll see for yourself how much they are despised. Someone like you would be labeled as a pro-NK supporter and shitted on even though you’re only trying to help the suffering NK people but the thing is SK doesn’t really want to help NK all that much. It’s hard helping your former brethren when they’re still pointing missiles at you. Looking at it from a South Korean perspective,” they invaded our country, tried to kill us, still trying to kill us and you try to raise awareness of how they’re suffering when they’re the offenders?”
“Why can’t I inform people here at the same time? Is there a law against that? Am I breaking a set of ethics or morals?”
I never said anything about how you couldn’t inform people about the issue but to illuminate SK about NK and to have those people that can actually help them out in reality because the rest of the world doesn’t give a fuck about NK.
-To this comment
racism and homophobia creates a 2nd class citizens which means less freedom rights, the thing that USA stands for. If you think it isn’t a big issue in the states then you are sadly mistaken. People do die from racism and homophobia you’ve just never bothered to look it up.
“I honestly view marriage as a religious ceremony. So let the religious people have it.” You’re forgetting that some homosexuals are religious also. What about the non-christians/catholics couples that get married? Is that a religious embodiment?
You can’t really compare these issues on which is worse US or NK because North Korean’s dying daily? that’s NK’s thing, not ours. Not our or others problem, if they weren’t threats we’d help them. Racism and homophobia however is global, completely in different contexts.
I’m not sure where you received your information. To my knowledge, not many actually hate or despise the actual people. The suffering is well-documented and who the fuck hates on somebody for having a shitty leader. Most people know perfectly well that their government is wack.
The fact that much the world doesn’t care about NK troubles me. We have messed up shit going down and they’re developing nukes isn’t troubling enough? The global community needs a wake up call to what’s happening. It’s holocaust 2.0.
Second half, creates second half citizens? No. Freedom rights? It’s illegal to discriminate on the basis of race. I don’t see how much more you can do from there. It’s within the rights of every citizen to hold racist thoughts and attitudes. It’s a “freedom right”, freedom of speech to be specific. So I don’t see how actual second class citizens are created. Sure it’s an issue, but it’s not on the same scale. How many people died with hate related crimes? I don’t know the statistic, but it’s surely less than 20,000.
If a homosexual is religious and wishes to get married, dafaq? It’s well within religions such as Islam and Christianity where homosexuality is a sin. It would be an infringement on the right of Churches to practice what they believe. Political correctness is getting out of hand. Non-religious people wanting to get married? Well like I said, the Feds should’ve never interfered. What they did is a result of the mess up from the government.
While I realize the context is different, North Korea is just a much more important issue personally. However, I find your reasoning much more disturbing. You push away the problems of others on the basis that they’re of a foreign nation? Arbitrarily set lines that divide us? That’s they’re problem and we have our own problems. While that is a valid set of thinking, I find it to be a dangerous one. Why help yourself when you can help others and yourself at the same time.
Racism and homophobia is certainly global and it’s a lot more serious in different regions. I don’t want to belittle those issues so I kept my racism and homophobia to the US. As I reiterate, a a relatively non-issue issue. The main problem in racism that I see in this nation is the victim complex. The African American community as a whole has been continuing with this victim complex and pushing on with it irrationally. As if equal rights weren’t enough, they’re going further than that. People such as Al Sharpton only further the racial divide while claiming to be shortening it. Affirmative action, a handout given to minorities yet also excluding others. It’s discrimination on the basis of race, yet legal. While not equal, it’s deemed fair by courts. The African American community has been given the means to get out of their vicious cycle, yet it has refused to do so. Education is the answer. Like I said with homophobia, go make your own fucking ceremony.
People in this country are too damn politically correct.
“Why? Because racism and homophobia is such a non-issue, at least in the states.”
Yeah … no.
I stopped reading there.
Your inability to comprehend how ridiculous you sound to catch feelings when people mock a dictator but yet find nothing wrong with mocking entire groups of people is amazing.
My country was ruled by a dictator till recently so I kind of understand what it feels like to live in North Korea.
Though here we had it much better but it’s still sort of similar.
People here had the common belief that if you don’t do or say anything that goes against the goverment nothing will ever happen to you -which was wrong they can attack whoever they want- , and the goverment always blamed the US/west for every problem or poverty that striked us.
Only few people felt the injustice and actually did or tried to do something about it and they were eventually eliminated or escaped out of the country.
And I think it’s the same in there.
They don’t feel like hostages till they have a taste of what freedom feels like.
Just saying, being under dictatorship doesn’t necessarily mean it’s similar conditions. You can have a benevolent dictatorship similar to Cassus or perhaps even Fidel Castro.
I think the main difference is the living conditions between the two. From what I can perceive through your comment was that although there was widespread poverty, it never degenerated into cannibalism and starving people left and right. It also seems like the people from your place didn’t have to suffer outrageous punishments such as 3 generation punishments nor common gulags.
From what I can tell through documentaries, most people in the North know perfectly well that they’re in a shitty situation. But they can’t do anything about it. Their obstacles include a million strong army, most of the common people are starving or dead, and they have no form to obtain weapons or any other mean of revolution.
Only the people living well in places like Pyongyang actually buy that shit, but that’s because they’re treated well enough for the propaganda that comes from the Juche.
I could never imagine to be living in a country that has dictatorship. Idk about any other country with a monarchy, but the closest thing like that in Thailand is if you ever insult the king, or vain talking about the royal family entirely, authorities there will serve your tongue on a silver platter (yet you have the freedom of speech about anything else). As for the torture/punishment methods here it’s just as bad as north korea.
When someone does something his entire family is doomed even women and children.
I’m aware of the conditions over there and I really hope someday things get better for them.
Yup, my country is one of the former communist republics, and the situations we were facing are kind of similar, with two exceptions- everybody knew they were going to be arrested at one point, wether you were saying/doing things in spite of the Party or not, and there was nothing to eat.

@Tap
same here, random arrests were everywhere. Everyone was a suspect.
As for food, it was rarely available but very expensive.
For example someday you can find bread the next day you might not find any.
Also there were a lot of donations from other countries and the population here is not large so people managed somewhat not to starve.
I live in the west but as for the east I think that things were a little better since it was free and all.
I am so happy to be American. I hate seeing dumbass teenagers complain about this country, they have no idea how lucky they are. @ schizo phrenia, I don’t even know what to say,,, I can’t even imagine living there with all the shit that’s been happening… :/
The grass is always greener on the other side of the hill.
As for living here, things are getting gradually better.
I only feel bad for the people who have lost their loved ones during the war.
The rest of us can move on.
ERMAHGERD I REMEMBER DIRECTIONERS AND VIPS GOING AT IT (BIGBANG winning some award in Italy that One Direction was about to win), something about directioners sending death threats to China and VIP’s were just like “….” and later “OH NOOOO- please don’t send them to CHIIIIIIINA!!!!”
I’m afraid that VIP’s don’t know what they’re up against. Far more directioners. Not a smart choice
I saw it first on tumblr, then out of curiosity I check it myself and I was like “oh no they didn’t!” Even though it’s true, but damn, I’m surprise wiki let it through. I did Siwon’s page but it won’t stay (fuckers).
The women seem afraid
IATFB, what did you do that was so bad for other K-sites to block posting a link to your site
What do you mean?
I can’t type “asianjunkie.com” on some kpop sites
Some sites like Allkpop just ban links in general.

“sand trolls” -sigh-
@LakornDiva
lol I know XD
My friends attack me all the time for coming here.
Yeah, they don’t allow links. Just like I don’t allow more than two links here.
Anti-spam reasons.
You guys getting hate for coming here is inevitable.
That’s what you get for having fun with K-pop/J-pop and thinking with your brain.
@Schizo_phrenia: You should spit in their faces for being stupid cunts. Get more fucked up friends.
sad thing is, the woman in pink has probably been crying tears of joy

First thing about the charity, if you do donate, donate to this one, http://www.pscore.org/donation/index.html It actually helps refugees defect.
It’s not the actual joking about them that bothers me. It’s the result of that. It numbs us. It makes us ignore or begin to feel desensitized to what’s happening there. What are we supposed to do about it?
They want fucking nuclear weapons and don’t allow people freely in and out. How are we supposed to help them exactly?
Invade? Start WW3? Yeah, splendid. I’m sure Korea/Japan/China would like a gigantic clusterfuck in their region.
Donate to charities like I have mentioned. Put more effort into the inevitable Reunification plan. When we become one Korea is going to become one shitty place to live. And start pressuring Iran and other nations to stop buying their fucking weapons. There are plenty of things to do, you’re just not looking.
Reunification?
Yeah, I’m sure Americans doing that will have an effect when even South Korea doesn’t want anything to do with the mess that will create.
The tax on their social programs will implode the economic progress they’ve made.
Yeah. Realistically looking at it. Another couple million need to die for there to be a smoother reunion. Way too many people up there. Way too many.
What you said is perfectly valid. Anything done intelligently is fair game. Satire especially.
I just wanted to see what it would be like taking a moral high ground.
But in all honestly, it’s a serious issue up there that we can’t just leave to fester.
Until South Korea wants it, the world can’t force it unless they want a massive shitstorm.
I’m a fan of America getting the fuck out of everybody’s business.
Let me get this straight: You feel that the racist and homophobic shit you comment with is cool to joke about … but you draw the line at North Korea.
That about correct?
Basically. How legit is this stuff?
That’s pretty much what my sister had *O*
2PM is prolly the most douchy band in Kpop. The only way to make them behave is to use some good old fashioned SM
;d
Its not legit this shit is the crust around kpop’s butt hole but funny shit
idk but it was interesting
I don’t doubt that taec is an asshole.
yes,i know Taecyeon is an asshole from the first time i saw him
The rest of 2pm looks pretty bad too, but the one that’s best off (to me) would be Khun, despite the accident.
Isn’t almost every K-pop idol a douche?
OKAY, WHO DID THIS? http://tinyurl.com/bn8wyff
I think I’m gonna pay a visit to Big Bang’s wiki page. Oh, and Siwon’s…….I still have that picture.
Hahahaa that’s actually kind of funny c:
ERMAHGERD I REMEMBER DIRECTIONERS AND VIPS GOING AT IT (BIGBANG winning some award in Italy that One Direction was about to win), something about directioners sending death threats to China and VIP’s were just like “….” and later “OH NOOOO- please don’t send them to CHIIIIIIINA!!!!”
I’m afraid that VIP’s don’t know what they’re up against. Far more directioners. Not a smart choice
*shakes head*
Even if the person is a delusional fan, not just someone trolling, I would still reward them with my body for this
I saw it first on tumblr, then out of curiosity I check it myself and I was like “oh no they didn’t!” Even though it’s true, but damn, I’m surprise wiki let it through. I did Siwon’s page but it won’t stay (fuckers).
LOL someone is obviously jealous. i just searched their wiki page and it was deleted though.
OH THE GENIUS *laughing hard*
omg,it still there…Somebody please repair it!!
