Lee Ji Hye & Ahn Jae Min comment on T-ara’s situation + Eunjung says thing, people run with it

Former Sharp member Lee Ji Hye gave her two cents on the T-ara issue recently and what she said shouldn’t surprise anyone.

On July 30th’s airing of social broadcast Palm tv‘s ‘Lee Ji Hye’s Secret‘, Lee Ji Hye talked about the ongoing situation with T-ara for the show’s ‘Today’s search words’ segment.

Lee Ji Hye shared, “Sharp broke up because of the group’s disharmony. It’s hard for me to talk about T-ara when one member has left.”

She continued, “(The stories) may be true or not, but I think all are victims and attackers in one. In addition to Hwayoung, all the members are really getting hurt.”

Lee Ji Hye pointed out, “There can be anxiety about new members in a group. Their ways of living and goals are each different. Also, since they’re young and don’t have much experience, they can’t help but run into trouble with one another. Because the T-ara members are young, it’s going to be a big wound for them.”

She comforted T-ara by commenting, “My wound went on for a long time as well. It’s important to just watch from the side lines without any rumors.”

I think her words are important primarily because they express a sense of “this ain’t unique, get over it”.

This shit that fans do where they pretend every group is a bunch of best friends is idiotic. Conflicts likely happen weekly, if not daily, it’s just that this situation happened to get out in the open.

Plus, she basically says that T-ara are the ones getting fucked by Core Contents Media and company here.

Then there’s actor Ahn Jae Min, who came specifically to Eunjung‘s defense.

On August 1st, the actor wrote via his official Twitter page, “The Eunjung I know is extremely pure. She is a lonely person, and her personality is far from that of a typical celebrity. She’s the kind of friend who despite having just arrived from Japan and is running on little sleep goes to see her peers’ performances and even attends the after-parties.”

He continued, “She not only takes care of those around her, she is the only person who has had the same personality for the past 10 years. We never really talk about anything related to T-ara, so being surprised as to what happened, I am in the process of looking it up. As a family member who has known her for so long, this is extremely upsetting.”

“She must be having such a hard time right now, but I’ll pray that everyone will get better with time,” he added. “I love you, dongseng.”

In regards to Hwayoung, he wrote, “How hard must it have been, and how hard it must be now. Both parties will only end up with scarred hearts, and I hope that this whole thing will be resolved sooner than later.”

Probably just defending a friend, but it’s a reaction to people labeling all T-ara members as incarnations of evil when it’s likely that’s not the case at all. It doesn’t mean she’s innocent, but just that conflicts between humans are always more complex than the black and white scenarios people are trying to envision.

For her part, Eunjung left a cryptic message on her fan cafe.

On July 30th, the singer took to her fan café and wrote, “Thank you so much.. and I’m sorry.”

What does it mean? Uh … nothing?

Still though, it’s perfect, because you can go around the Internet and see people taking her comment to mean whatever they want it to mean. Why do I keep pushing that confirmation bias thing? Because it’s fucking true and I’ll shove it down your throat like Eunjung shoves rice cakes in Hwayoung‘s mouf.

Nobody wants to admit this, but the best answer until we know more is simple: “I have no fucking idea what the truth is.

  1. HAHA. Korea 45-26 . Beat down Romania like no other, in a gold medal match of all places.

  2. This T-ara thing is getting old. Everything that had to be said was said, people should start getting over it already. Hwayoung’s gone, T-ara stays, KKS is a fucking bitch, there’s nothing a person can add. I wonder how much longer fans will be getting their panties in a twist over this whole mess.

  3. Seriously, as much as I would want to know what’s going on (and the truth), we need to stop talking about that matter. We’ll never know, because we’re not that close to them. Cursing whoever will only bring more problems and a brainless CEO into this mess.

Many groups broke up before, it still happens to this day. Nothing new here. Let’s all move on.

  4. This whole T-ara controversy is slowly becoming boring. Let them cats fight their own battle.

I vote for more boob-articles from now on.

  5. We need Siwon gay sex tape asap, this T-ara thingy is getting boring and Nichkhun case is already over…. maybe Capitan slap-a-hoe strikes again

  6. The Japanese ref for the CAN vs GB soccer game is hot. I’ll bang her right after the game….and she doesn’t even have to take a wash up either

    Oh and T-ara sucks

  7. lol, boring

  8. I just wish that instead of everyone freaking out about this that they would realize this isn’t something that only T-ara experiences. It’s annoying that these people believe that they’re in a position to judge when they most likely did/do the same exact things in their lives, not their favorite idols do the same exact thing too.

But no, people have to be stupid and go another direction

  9. I am fucking bored and I realized that mixing jäger with vodka does weird things to my body.

To distract myself I’ll just spam this article with completely unrelated shit:
Why the fuck does SHINee look like some fucking hipsters now?
    http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m86glcKFZc1qdtvhxo2_1280.jpg
That’s what I call the douchebag scarf. Only assholes wear this shit – Taemin, I think I need to take you to my room and discipline your penis with some iron clothes pegs that were heated over a campfire for 2 hours.

Also what the fuck is this shit:
    http://media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m86a41JtWM1qcl8qx.jpg

I’d rather want to see them fucking each other on stage than this crap that instantly causes diarrhea for me.

  10. Think of the children!!! How dare this group promote bullying like it’s a good thing so our children can imitate it! Whatever idols and celebs do, OBVIOUSLY means it’s ok and our poor can’t think for themselves kids will follow in their foot steps. It’s ruining their education! Just like when idols date one another; it distracts them from studying and learning. Ugh these idols! Stop being human already!

    • Watch out. Some stupid fangirls might be lurking around and too dumb to realize that you’re being sarcastic.
You might get some naked pics from them out of gratitude or some shit – how awesome would that be.

      • I really did have someone misreading my comment on AKP lol. I was mocking how the fans were reacting toward the Nichkun thing and put in parenthesis “this how ridiculous y’all sound” ^^;;;

I’m guessing…. that happened to you?

        • Nah, unfortunately not. I would love to get some naked pics from bitches because they think I am agreeing with them.

I’m more on the “insult-the-idiots-and-throw-in-some-extremely-perverted-shit”-side — They usually do not appreciate my nasty comments on an article about their pure oppars/unnirs

        • I got banned from AKP twice already. Their code is basically “If you’re not with us, you’re against me and my oppar and unnir.”

        • Yea – right now they are trying to flame me over some stupid “MBLAQ made it in Germany” article. Too funny. :D

        • @ LaKornDiva

I’m on my second ban too. They get upset when you tell them Kpop isn’t taking over Japan

        • Let’s see if I get one. Those fangirls are going batshit crazy on my ass – I am having a fucking blast :D

        • Wow really? No ban for me and I throw lots of crap out there on AKP.. sometimes borderline trolling just to tick off peoples/fans.

        • Yeah, and they keep telling me Tpop isn’t Kpop. Uh,…duh bitch, its in Thai.

        • Wow… I can’t even… this stupidity is too much for me. Korean journalism really cracks me up. Check this shit out: http://www.allkpop.com/2012/08/mblaq-tops-asian-music-chart-in-germany-with-mona-lisa
They make it seem like it’s some big fucking deal while it’s some “chart” that was voted on in a forum that has… 549 members… 549!!! AHAHHAHAHA, I could open a forum about flies that poop on my nose while I sleep and could get more members.
And the korean media and allkpop are covering this shit like it’s some important chart. And all those bitches even believe it. This is absolutely great.

        • @No_Min I read your comment thread, all I did was rotfl. I like how one or two replies try to twist the fact and justify it by saying it was an accomplishment anyway.

        • That’s why I didn’t bother reading it because I was sure it was some insignificant chart that really doesn’t matter to anyone… and apparently it was. I always hate it when fans think you’re jealous because ‘your bias didn’t win so, you gotta bash by oh… pointing out how unimportant the chart was.’ Why do many fans think ERRRYBODY is obsessed with their favs in the first place? “You would act like this if YOUR bias won! You would act like this if YOUR bias was being picked on! You would act like this if YOUR bias was in a car accident and been caught drinking/driving and they’re now suffering from the public!” Um… no, I wouldn’t because I have a mind of my own -___-

It’s no different than when people spam the crap outta articles on both AKP and TH just to see their oppas/unnis on top of something. It’s not beneficial to the group in ANY way because it virtually means nothing esp if it’s on some forum… a forum that seem to have no popularity if its members are 500+ people. That’s like making a 6T poll and listing “Best Asian Artist” more than likely some Kpop act will win compared to the amount of AKP users vs TH users.. (“SEE KPOP DOMINATES JAPAN!) and 6T isn’t some special site anyway that the majority care about except for people who are fans of Japanese and/or Korean music/media.

        • Well, the article is not even relevant at all – not even on allkpop – almost no comments either. But it’s funny to point out stupidity.
And they always do that shit, usually I just don’t care enough to comment on it.

        • @Minahmyu
Oh, and of course you are right with everything you have said. :)
I am going to bake some penis cookies for you. With some extra thick layer of whipped cream on the right spot.

        • @No_min

          Aw thanks for the offer and gesture but I like sticking to good ol’ fashion chocolate chip cookies ^^;;;

    • Bullying >>> Sexual molestation

It’s kewl to touch little girls pee-pee in the industry without any blacklash but bullying they will NOT stand for it

  11. No matter what the details of this situation are, I have concluded that KKS is about 90% responsible for this mess.

Maybe T-ara bullied Hwayoung to some degree or made her an outcast. But I could have almost predicted that would happen under the circumstances that KKS put them in.

A group of young girls who are way-overworked by their boss are suddenly told that they have to share 1/6th of their earnings with a new member that is joining the group for no apparent reason. That alone probably bred enough animosity in the group to put Hwayoung in the ‘outcast’ position.

Then after reaching the top level of success last year, KKS tells them that now they’re going to have to give up another 20% of their group-activity income to two new members and that if they don’t like it, they will be replaced.

I’m not excusing T-ara for anything they might have done to Hwayoung. But it’s easy to see how even normally decent people could morph into ‘bullies’ under the intense negative pressure of the environment that KKS created.

  12. I don’t know mang, I usually agree with you for the most part and it’s probably true that this is a common occurrence but even if we don’t know that background, the stuff that has been done to hwayoung in the foreground is sill unacceptable. Prevalence is probably not a good reason to tolerate something.

  13. When fans started using Hwayoung’s cousin as evidence of T-ara bullying her, I died a little on the inside.

It’s like they’ve already forgotten about Tablo.

  14. i dont give a fucks

Eunjung is dumb as fuck! If you’re gonna say something just say it, or better stay quiet. Why is she actually apologizing? For all this mess causing T-ara fans distress? Thats probably it. But antis have probably ended up with this conclusion “She apologised, so basically admits the bullying” And how will they not? All Eunjung did with this half worded apology, was proving herself dumber that KKS.

  15. Korea should just learn to be truthful and not fabricate shit. I’m probably coming off as a racist, but most Korean’s have a hard time admitting their faults and prefer to shy away and let time heal their troubles. I believe it is this mentality that has led to their constant use of lying to the press. I’m probably wrong but that’s my view on why no one’s ever upfront in Korea.

    • That’s what I’ve been trying to tell people, but they’re coming back at me saying that Koreans are perfect beings. Nope.

It’s even worse in those dramas (bad example, but still). It takes 23 episodes for them to admit their love for each other, when during that time, they’d have the time to date for 2 months and shit. Not cool.

      • The major thing that pisses me off about k-dramas (esp romantic ones) they take to dang on long to finish. 16+ eps worth of misunderstandings!? Seriously!? I was kinda getting into Witch Yoo Hee but OMG these people couldn’t make up their mind on who to date! It was OBVIOUS who were gonna be the final couples, so why did it take filler eps of someone being an idiot and instead of CONFRONTING and ASKING someone of what is going on when they see their lover with someone, they frickin assume the worse scenario and don’t wanna talk to them and they talk to some other person blah blah BS. I had to drop it because I wasn’t gonna waste 10 more eps of seeing a big circle that people are running around in when I already know what will happen. It’s like they dunno what else to put in the show to make it last long…

-end of rant. -____- I did like Taste Sweet Love only because it was cute to see the transformation of dorky girl to cute girl but it sucks she only got noticed by her crush AFTER she changed.

        • I always like Kdramas that has some action or the ones that takes place in historical times. For some reason I can’t last in those cliche lovey dovey shows too long. Also I hate it when there’s like two or three episodes left, they wanna wrap storyline up in a abruptly manner like, “WTH just happened?” Like IRIS for example, is it supposed to be a TBC?

If you wanna see entertaining hot mess, its lakorns. A typical lakorn is like watching a long episode of Maury. Two women fighting over one guy, one of the male characters is a closeted gay, family drama, infidelity, unplanned pregnancy, someone dies in vain, and cat fights. I enjoy the fighting tho.

        • @LakornDiva

          And I was kinda thinking about watch IRIS too. See at times, I think long dramas are nice (well depending on the story) because some J-dramas I watch omg it rushed soooo much. But then some stuff it’s like, way too long and gets too draggy. But hmm.. super dramatic stuff.. I dunno. I’m picky lol. The plot gotta interests me and not be super filled with idols. Nothing against them, but many are bad actors/actresses and they try so hard to make it revolve around them and it fails pretty badly ;_;

        • Let. Me. Love. You.

      • It’s probably because they find that cute. A boy or girl who doesn’t have the courage to confess their love to a person, I guess we’ve all been there haven’t we? :o
It’s quite a fantasy situation ahah

        • I guess. But even if I do get shy, I confess eventually (after a few months of friendship). It’s so frustrating sometimes, they’re even worse than I am in love.

      • Yep, all the K-nazi’s seem to put all Koreans on this pedestal and act like they are all on so much more of a moral higher ground then anyone else.

    • That’s sort of an Asian “save face” thing though, not a Korean thing.

      • So that’s the term. I mainly see it with my Korean friends though, so I based it off Koreans.

Makes sense that it’s an Asian thing :)

  16. Cant wait for SNSD to have their scandal. Watch the shit fly on that one.

    • When ever something happens in SNSD, it’s always a mis-translation

    • Doubt that will ever happen, unless a few members are on their periods and can’t control their emotions or something :s

      just sayin

      • I wonder if all their cycles match each other like sometimes happens… Can you imagine dealing with 9 diva idol girls all PMS’ing at the same time… lol
