I used to read a lot of fanfiction but there are so many shitty ones to shift through that I just gave up. The super popular ones usually suck ass and the good ones are never finished by the writer. FF is good for playtime and exercise for the writer’s abilities but to sell it as actual literary material like the author of Fifty Shades has done, and to call themselves actual writers, just blows.
I downloaded that piece of shit, but only managed to get to like page 100 before I couldn’t force myself to continue. The horrible writing bothered me more than the lame sex.
