MLB employee uses Psy's "Gangnam Style" to make disturbing 2012 playoffs commercial

MLB Fan Cave employee Gordon Mack created an unofficial 2012 MLB playoffs commercial featuring the music of Psy‘s “Gangnam Style“, which would normally be awesome, but I found it extremely disturbing to see Derek Jeter with HyunA‘s body riding Bryce Harper with Psy’s body.

I can’t unsee that shit.

Here’s an appropriate mix of disturbing and funny:

  1. Why is the girl from that GIF so freaky

  2. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zPP5Bvtr2Dg

the video for that gif. it’s auto looped

  3. Gangnam style sure is blowing up. I’m surprised Psy isn’t promoting it in the states.
I’m sure a lot of TV shows would love to see him perform it live, or at least have an interview since he can speak English quite well.

    • I know that he did one interview (it is on his channel), but yeah he definitely should do more.

My mother HATES Kpop with a burning passion but ever since we showed her PSY, she would always tell us shit like “OH PSY HAS BEEN THE LEADING STORY ON THE TODAY SHOW FOR THREE DAYS IN A ROW- IM SO PROUD OF HIM”

I would kill to see him perform on the today show with a cheering crowd doing the horse dance. SNSD and Wonder Girls would go through enough comfort food that they’d weigh something normal

      • Aha yeah definitely agree. I mean I have friends who don’t even know what kpop is and they’re talking about Gangnam style.
Damn son, if Korean entertainment companies don’t use this opportunity and promote, it’ll be a waste :o

        I’m guessing you’re from America?

        • Yep, American. And you?

I thought that everyone here was too. What an ignorant fool I was

But yeah, my friends are doing the horse dance. They don’t know shit about Kpop unless I’ve showed them stuff and even then they don’t like it (except Nanlina, Digital Bounce, Fantastic Baby, High High, I’m a Loner, Noona You’re So Pretty, Action, and Wanna B. other then those my friends don’t like Kpop)

      • Ah that’s great :)
I’m from Australia so there isn’t a lot of kpop activity here, such as concerts.
We did have one (Sydney Kpop Festivle) but that was it.
Strange though, because we have a lot of people who listen to Kpop.
        WHY YOU NO COME D’:

Ah well, I’m wondering what you look like because I constantly stare at your Jung Juri dp..

        • I thought that the Korean media always overhyped how much a country liked Kpop- australia does like it?

And lol- Jung Juri will be my avatar for a while. My Kpop loving friends would be crushed to find out that I’m saying stuff like this about their biases. Safety first :p

      • My friends keep attacking me with information about “Gangnam Style” as if they don’t know what an obsessive fuck I am about that shit. I ALREADY KNOW.

/my mom is cooler than yours cause she likes k-pop :B

        • Lol about the friends

Yeah my mom has thrown so many coffee mugs and fruit (basically anything on our kitchen counter) at us for hearing Kpop (even if it’s through our ear phones)

We have all of these mugs without handles and bruised fruit. She’s just like “YOU’RE STILL GOING TO USE THEM- THEY’RE PERFECTLY GOOD”

        • That’s scary. I apologize for laughing.

    • It’s also his “zero fs given” attitude that people like him so much.

People bandwagon and things get over-saturated. it’s nice to see kpop companies not trying force this down the viewers throat.

  4. The song I’m playing right now goes weirdly well with yer gif thar.

  5. Ewww, I don’t wanna see Hamilton over Verlander. That’s just disrespectful to baseball’s best pitcher.

  6. Jay Leno had a joke about Romney dancing to Gangnam Style

My mom was like “THAT’S ONLY ROMNEY’S FACE ON A DOUBLE”

    Oh well, it was fun

  7. The Shining one was funny.

The MLB one was lame as fuck. Even worse to know that some unfunny asshole got a paycheck for that.

Unfortunately, I have a feeling we’re going to be seeing a lot more unfunny Gangnam Style parodies.

  8. some people in my dorm were thinking of doing their own version of gangnam style. i’ll post it here if it ends up being any good.

    • i’d like to add that these people are not kpop fans and know next to nothing about asian pop music. which basically shows how this mv/song is able to appeal to people who aren’t fans, which many idols fail to do.

  9. I found the commercial kinda cute haha

  10. A Canadian blogger/youtuber I know gotten a question about Gangnam style and this his input about about it http://tinyurl.com/9klppxl

  11. Lol wow thats funny
