      I could be completley wrong, but I think most of the people who hate Hyuna and all her “sluttiness” seem to be the international fans… and maybe Hyori’s music is from a different generation therefore they aren’t as familar with her?

      I think it’s because Hyori’s older than Hyuna, so people are fine with her doing those things.

      I think its the fact she seems to be one of Korea’s only sex symbols. So everyone basically embraces her without asking questions. Also, yeah, Hyori is considerably older than Hyuna. I think the fact Hyuna started it whilst she was so young is what really turned people off her. Apart from the fact a 17/18 year old doing what Hyuna did in Change is a bit concerning, it also puts her in that perfect age range to be seen as a “threat” to most girls.

      There’s also a lot about image off stage. Hyori really made a name for herself through family outing and whatnot. Plus all the stuff like animal activism, just being pretty cool on shows in general, seems to make people warm up to her. They look at her like an independent women who’s confident with her body. Whilst they look as Hyuna as being a mindless robot putty men’s gazes.

      I think it mostly has to do with Hyori just being renowned as a sex symbol as well as her being adult. I think when adult idols like Hyori and BEG do it, then it’s seen as embracing their sexuality. I agree that when Hyuna started at 17, I legit thought her company was pretty much exploting her. But she’s 20 now, and apparantly she’s had a say in all these concept photos for this round, so heh.
