Pop Goes The Music: Clazziquai – “Sweetest Name”

Clazziquai

Your random reminder that the whole of Korean and Japanese music is more than just the summation of idol tracks.

Does anybody not like Clazziquai? If so, go away. Also, here’s one group I would root for in America.

  1. That was actually pretty damn good.

  2. I think they’d be greatly appreciated in Europe.
And some other Fluxus artists as well.

  3. I think I’m gonna start checking out some Indie artists from now on.

Found out about Guckkasten couple of days ago and simply love them (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hc50hzSn1TQ) . And some awesome person in the chat showed me Glen Check – fucking great: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V1XOBNwAHcw

    I need moar of zis!

  4. i hope there are some christina tracks on the album

  5. This is one of mine first introduction to korean music. It nice to listen too. If they make a bid to America I can see them targeting Jason Mraz fanbase.

  6. I See Seashells on the Seashore

Not bad. A nice and simple, yet happy tune. A bright and colorful video would go well with this.

  7. Once again this blog won’t let me comment on my true feelings. Curses!

  8. Not really feeling this song. Sooo bland

  9. Oooh this is nice. I’ve heard of them but this is the first time I actually listened to a song by them.

  10. clazziquai are good but none of their tracks really stand out.

  11. I like it. It’s pleasant but it didn’t blow me away. It sounds like something that would be played at H&M and possibly Express.

  12. Didn’t know Clazziquai was still live and kicking…nice! By the way, this song sounds really dull and pointless :(
