@Boo: I’ve never spent that much money on a set of underwear lol. There are good stores that sell very nice and cheap underwear (for example: fucking New Yorker and H&M were my places to go for underwear for the longest time).

Women want to look sexy in underwear for their men so they most likely will buy something that the guys like.
G-strings are not bought by women cause they are comfy or because chicks stand in front of the mirror and want to masturbate to the sight (although I would if I looked like Adriana Lima).
The most annoying word in marketing is “aspirational”. VS uses an aspirational marketing strategy along the lines of “if men want to fuck our models, women will want to be like our models.” And then women will proceed to buy overpriced VS crap because VS has created this “sex goddess” image that women see men drooling over.
I don’t see a problem with it. The whole fashion market works like this (and not only fashion), so whatever. And VS is quite cheap by the way.
