Comment Of The Day: Plenty of unfair shit happens, so why do we care about T-ara’s Eunjung?!

EunjungEmo

Here’s part of the news I needed to catch up on, as YEIN E&M gave T-ara‘s Eunjung a long, detailed, itemized official apology for unfairly making her walk the plank for the “Five Fingers” drama.

The best-rated reaction from K-netizens on the issue shouldn’t surprise you, but the logic goes to show the lengths they’re willing to go to in order to justify their T-ara hatred.

1. [+988, -42] Plenty of celebrities have been ordered to comply with one-sided decisions like this. Who does Eunjung think she is, some big shot actress, to make such a big deal out of it?

Most of the rest of them are the same tired shit about rice cakes or whatever. Great. Original, you guys.

But the most disturbing comment is this one, because it has so many upvotes. Like … really?

BRO PLENTY OF ACTRESSES HAVE BEEN FUCKED OVER IN THE PAST, SO WHY SHOULD WE CARE NOW?!

Ugh.

Don’t even give a shit about only Eunjung in this case because it’s stated so matter of factly, like the implication is that discovering a broad injustice in the industry should be complete apathy.

Like how Han Ye Seul gets shit to this day because she refused to be worked to death like an indentured servant, but hey, that’s okay, because she’s not the first to get fucked over!

It’s one thing to have a subconcious status quo, it’s another to be fully aware that people get fucked over by the status quo and literally blame the actors/actresses for complaining when the netizens KNOW they are getting shafted.

It’s comical. While this sucks, it’s just the entertainment industry, right? Except this type of shit permeates throughout society when it involves companies with money/power.

  1. Man, I just don’t understand netizens when it comes to the status quo in Korean dramas. Eunjung got fucked over and was kicked off about a day before she was to start filming. I don’t buy any of the shit from YEIN E&M. “Oh, worry that our drama flopped after we kicked Eunjung off the drama, and oh yeah, please lift the ban on us.”

Back during the Spy Myung Wol incident, man, so many fangirls irritated me during that whole process. “Oh, that bitch Han Ye Seul is ruining Eric oppar’s comeback drama. How dare she wish to get some sleep. What a selfish cunt. All of the others are suffering on the set.” Yeah, no one should have to suffer in the first place.

Korean actors and actresses, along with the staff members really need to get a union, because shit like this won’t stop until there is one.

  2. I_wish_I_was_asian_because_of_kpop

I bet Eunjung panties smell like Starburst

  3. I heard that they only apologized because YEIN E&M is banned from making dramas for like 2 years? they sneakily added that fact to the end of the statement; I guess if they apologize then the ban would be lifted?

    • when you hold the power, you can do whatever the fuck you want to increase your power so long as you can get away with it, but if someone else has the power to fuck you up and takes issue with you, you grovel to them in the hopes they sweeten up to you and let you go.

see: YEIN E&M firing Eunjung because her involvement in a project might lower profits due to a scandal, then KEMA coming knocking to blacklist YEIN from the industry because in breaching the contract to fire Eunjung they stepped on KEMA’s toes, so KEMA feels the need to fuck up YEIN so that other organizations don’t do the same.

The world of business owns, it’s like middle school

      • i didn’t even know YEIN was blacklisted tbh Five Fingers was horrible, idk how they would even begin to create a drama after that hot ass mess.

  4. That’s exactly the face EJ made after she saw my penis. How strange.

  5. this is what happen when people think that celebrities are super human that have the power of god. bad things happen and apocalypse appear.

those words for those people are actually for themselves as well:
there are bully cases worse than bullying by tweet, why give a shit about hwayoung’s case?

there are tons of uncontrollable sexual fetish occur in this life, why give a shit about young wook’s case?

all people will have sex eventually, why give a shit about…well…everyone?

  6. ::::.:::.:.:.::::::::

  7. since we live in the most perfect of all possible worlds, the status quo is the best it can be and if you think the world can be better you’re a problem. whistleblowers and union members are the most immoral, evil people alive today

  8. NANA'snumber1bish

If for no other reason, we should be outraged because she’s hawt.

But on the serial, netizens shitting themselves over bullying accusations with no evidence is no justification for dropping someone from a drama a day before filming. If anything keeping her in the drama would have boosted viewings from netizen haters looking for something to bring up in their forums. ergo- boosted ratings. hurr hurr
