SME CEO wants to give China more Korean-trained Chinese pop stars

KimYoungMin

SM Entertainment CEO Kim Young Min has apparently decided that there’s a dearth of solo Chinese male pop stars in China, and has thus decided to give them even more. That’s awful generous considering he’s gifted Kris, Tao, and Luhan already, but sharing is caring!

“The three stage of globalization is first, export of culture, second, collaboration and third, localization. BoA, TVXQ was export, Super Junior and EXO the collaboration through including Chinese members and now we will begin the third phase of localization with the debut of an all Chinese boy group. We are currently producing a idol raising variety show with Hunan Television and the survivals of this show will debut under our production.”

What’s better than 75% of the Chinese members and a quarter of a super boy group leaving for greener pastures? An all Chinese boy group where all the members can promptly leave and go solo.

What a kind heart…

…unless he’s seen Kris, Tao, and Luhan’s solo efforts…

OH SHIT.. LUHAN JUST WENT THERE #SQUATGOALS #SWEG

…and the plan is to torture Chinese citizens through psychological warfare.

Either way, it should work out for us.
