The reshuffled FAKY lineup has made a comeback recently, and the “Afterglow” music video was of particular interest. It’s shot from the POV of an increasingly obsessive fan that destroys her personal relationships and stalks the girls as a result of her love for the group.
This would probably be even more relevant commentary on the state of the J-idol world if it was a male fan stalking cutesy female idols, but understandably the fan here is a woman since FAKY likely appeals more to that demo, thus making this experience appear more relevant.
