Lee Jin Wook and his alleged sexual assault victim both took lie detector tests and the results got out to the press.
According to reports, the lie detector tests revealed mixed results with Lee Jin Wook’s results being inconclusive and A’s results indicating a false statement. The police source stated, “Lee’s results came out inconclusive. However, these results cannot be accepted as decisive evidence.”
What is honestly the point of this? Polygraphs are basically useless, and I have no idea why this type of shit would be used in a police investigation.
Either way, it does seem like the alleged victim rebuts the previous media reports that she admitted to lying about a sexual assault taking place to the police.
A recently commented on the case in a phone interview and said, “It’s a mess. First of all, I’m having a very difficult time right now. There are so many words that don’t make sense that are coming up. But I’m not going to be concerned with that because there is truth and the results are the important thing.” Hong Jong Sun, a public culture expert, commented, “I think she said that because she believes there is a truth that needs to be confirmed. The police investigation is not over. The prosecution’s investigation needs to start but the public trial has already determined Lee Jin Wook as not guilty and the accuser as guilty. I think she revealed her feelings about being portrayed as a wicked gold digger.”
Well, if that’s true and the report about her copping to false accusations was bunk, then we would be back to square one, really.
I gotta admit, though, the fact that part of the police investigation involves a fucking polygraph, well that doesn’t inspire the most confidence either way.
