Dal Shabet returned with an unfortunately underhyped comeback — this is over a week late, for starters — in “FRI. SAT. SUN.“, but that doesn’t necessarily reflect on the quality they delivered.
“FRI. SAT. SUN.” is not “Someone Like U” perfection, nor is it necessarily on the level of their previous underrated jams, but it’s still a catchy and fun release that deserves more than it got from the general public. Specifically, the moments of half time in the chorus and post-chorus were particular highlights for me.
Also, as someone who works full time Monday through Friday, I loved the entire concept. It’s refreshing, relatable, and the music video is adorable.
