Playback has been MIA for the longest time, making whatever fans there were of the group worried for their future. However, Coridel Entertainment recently announced that they would be adding Ma Eunjin to the group fresh off her ‘K-Pop Star 6‘ turn, which at the very least means the group’s not dead.

Playback, along with members Hayoung, Soyun, Woolim and Yena welcome Ma Eunjin who received much love and support from Kpop Star 6 as the newest and final member of the group. Playback have devoted their lives to the studio and will deliver to fans what they deserve. We are coming~! We love you~! Thank you.
Ma Eunjin, of course, was supposed to debut with Playback to begin with, but after rumors about her being a bully and sasaeng were spread she dropped out. Coridel denied those two charges but seemed to not want to deal with controversy, so they debuted as four. Now that her image has been relatively improved, I guess they decided to go at it again with the original lineup.
Regardless, I’m just glad they’re back … and so is Hayoung.
