About a week ago on ‘Turma Do Vovo Raul‘, the host of the show Raul Gil was racist as hell to KARD, who showed up as guests. After Asian Junkie covered the issue a couple days later, the story really seemed to blow up, and since I’ve had to deal with people who have prominent Twitter followings argue in Portuguese in my mentions, I’m taking credit for this issue spreading.

Anyway, it’s spread enough that the son of Raul Gil, and director of the show, has issued an apology. Well, sorta.
“My father has always been an extremely polite person and he has not thought of disrespecting anyone. If there was any kind of misunderstanding or if anyone was offended, I believe that he and I, both production and director, are really apologetic.”
