Christmas-themed pop music releases are almost always mediocre at best and terrible at worst, so while Lovelyz‘s “Twinkle” falls along the upper bounds of that scale, it’s still middling nonetheless.
For a moment, I had forgot about this nightmare season for music, somehow blissfully going about life while about to walk into a musical ehllscape. Lovelyz and “Twinkle” snapped me back to reality, serving as a stark reminder of what we’ve got in store for at least the next two months. By the end, I’ll once again truly appreciate Mariah Carey and “All I Want For Christmas Is You“.
At least Lovelyz’s visuals are on point.
