T-ara’s lawyer says rumors about disbandment are false, but talks about group as 4

A lawyer representing T-ara has refuted rumors that were coincidentally spread recently that T-ara would be disbanding.

On January 22, the lawyer representing Hyomin, Qri, Jiyeon, and Eunjung stated to news outlet YTN Star, “After confirming with the members, the rumors that the four members of T-ara will not be promoting together are false. They plan to promote as four members, as T-ara.” It was previously rumored that while the members were working out the details after leaving MBK Entertainment, the four members decided to split up due to differing opinions. Their lawyer denied this and stated, “We are, of course, still in the process of appeals and submitting grounds for refusal of MBK’s application for trademark of T-ara’s name.”

Common sense prevails again.

The only wrinkle in this is that the lawyer talks about the group as four. That would be somewhat surprising, though it doesn’t do Soyeon and Boram any good to enter the fray now as T-ara are in a dispute with MBK Entertainment over their name.
