Rapper Jung Sang Soo, who is perhaps most known to international audiences for dropping the n-word on ‘Show Me The Money 3‘, is in trouble with authorities for drunkenly harassing women on the street and threatened a passerby.
On February 19, Mapo Police Department revealed Jung Sang Soo was detained for investigation. According to the police, a day earlier on the 18th, Jung Sang Soo got drunk and threatened a passerby in Hongdae. He used profane language and screamed at women who were already in deep fear at his violent manner. Jung Sang Soo has admitted to his violent actions to the police.
So that’s obviously a problem in itself, but what makes me think he has a problem with alcohol is that it’s nothing new. Back in April of last year, he got in trouble with authorities after fighting at a bar with patrons. Then in July of last year he did the same thing except he added on by fighting with police when they arrived to break things up.
Around 2 a.m. KST on July 5, Jung Sang Soo got in a physical brawl at a drinking establishment and police were called to the scene. He then proceeded to fight and assault the police, as well. His agency South Town Production commented, “Jung Sang Soo has returned home. He will take time to self-reflect for awhile.” The rapper previously got in a similar fight on April 21 and had received a police investigation for assault.
Then a couple weeks after that, he got into trouble yet again when he drunkenly drove the wrong way down a one-way street and purposefully hit an oncoming car.
Around 3 a.m. KST on July 18, Jung Sang Soo drove the wrong way down a one-way street and purposely hit an oncoming car when the other driver refused to give way. According to the police, the rapper’s blood alcohol level at the time was 0.054 percent, which is an automatic license suspension. Jung Sang Soo has been booked without detention.
Alcohol is the recurring thing in all these incidents and dude clearly needs help or something.
