After disbanding over a decade ago, Solid recently reunited as a group, and I was curious as to what kind of music they could provide us. Well they recently answered that question with music videos for “Into The Light” and “Memento“.
Honestly, I’m quite surprised. Even back when they were active, while I had respect for them, their music was never really my jam. So I had questioned whether they’d be able to offer anything now after so long away, but “Into The Light” is an exceedingly smooth effort that would be best utilized while driving like in the music video, and “Memento” is an emotional track that actually doesn’t bore me thanks to the active instrumental.
