Hello everybody, I’m just checking in today to bring attention to exchanges on the ‘Produce 48‘ sub-reddit and Pann Choa comment section in which both accuse each other of being a toxic wasteland to discuss the show.
A comment chain in a Pann Choa article called out the ‘PD48’ sub-reddit…
…and that article was posted on the ‘PD48’ sub-reddit, where they read the comments and shit on Pann Choa’s comments.

Of course, they are basically both right, and this kind of stuff is just an example of the kind of mess I’ve seen going on everywhere one discusses the show, including around these parts sometimes. And honestly, this is … while sad, basically exactly the kind of entertainment I was hoping to get from this K-pop/J-pop mess.

Seriously though, the funniest part about the discussion regarding ‘PD48’ is that almost all of the complaining can be distilled down to how their fave isn’t getting what they deserve because of unfair treatment (if they aren’t ranked high enough) or how their fave gets fair treatment because they have deserved it (if they are ranked high enough). Huh … funny that.
Anyway, this shit is thoroughly good.
How will Asian Junkie get roped into this? Surely you fucking assholes can aim to be the most toxic? Let’s gooo!
