It has recently been revealed that CLC sang the demo for IZ*ONE‘s “La Vie En Rose“, which likely means it was their song before Cube Entertainment passed it off because they don’t care about CLC anymore or something.
While it may understandably be hard for CLC fans to not be bitter about this seeing the success IZ*ONE is attaining, maybe they can take solace in the reality this is likely evidence that it matters more who releases something than the quality of the music. As despite its success, it’s unlikely that CLC releasing the exact same song, at what would likely be at least an equal level in terms of talent, would result in the same chart success.
THIS THEORY THAT LA VIE EN ROSE WAS ORIGINALLY CLC’S SONG MAKES SO MUCH SENSE I –
same producer as black dress, clc was giving comeback spoilers with roses, said they’d “come back as pretty as flowers”, eunbin’s random insta post that we thought was a spoiler, etc omg pic.twitter.com/DIrcgoeCmW
