Ahn Jae Hyun will file a divorce lawsuit against Goo Hye Sun

In the latest on the Goo Hye Sun-Ahn Jae Hyun divorce mess, Ahn Jae Hyun’s lawyer, Bang Jung Hyun (yes, from the Jung Joon Young molka and YG Entertainment drug stuff), has revealed that his client will file a divorce lawsuit against Goo Hye Sun. He starts the statement by relaying an apology from Ahn Jae Hyun.

First, I am relaying Ahn Jae Hyun’s apology, “I apologize for causing an uproar due to our marital relationship, which is a personal matter.” We are taking a careful stance at this stage. We believe anything can sound like a unilateral claim from one side, so he will personally reveal his thoughts after the situation is settled.

The rest of it essentially explains the reasons for going the legal route due to everything having been made public.

Ahn Jae Hyun is in a state in which he can’t help but prepare to take legal action. When his marriage with Ku Hye Sun is practically in ruins, there’s a limit to proving what the truth is through social media. We concluded that it’s best to file a divorce lawsuit and have the court make the judgement through legal evidence. (This reflects Ahn Jae Hyun’s wishes to not file a criminal complaint against her at this stage.) Currently, untruthful information has become known as facts due to Ku Hye Sun’s unilateral claims on social media. Upon looking over the documents I received from Ahn Jae Hyun, I found that Ku Hye Sun’s statements are considerably exaggerated and skewed. As a result, Ahn Jae Hyun’s reputation was severely damaged, and the damage was spread to third parties.

It even goes into the speculation that he was close with Jung Joon Young.

Furthermore, we will clear up the various rumors surrounding Ahn Jae Hyun. For example, his relationship with singer Jung Joon Young. I am referring to rumors like, “Ahn Jae Hyun is friends with Jung Joon Young,” and, “The quality of his personality is predictable because he’s part of the KakaoTalk chatroom.” I am the lawyer who [helped] a whistleblower report the ‘Jung Joon Young chatroom case.’ I have seen all of the conversations in the chatroom at the time. Through this case, I looked at Jung Joon Young’s KakaoTalk once again, and there were no conversations shared between the two of them. I found that in a conversation with a third party in July 19, 2016, he said, “It’s been a year since I’ve seen Jae Hyun hyung.”

What he wants out of this is to end the marriage and clear himself.

Ahn Jae Hyun hopes to end his marital relationship with Ku Hye Sun through the divorce lawsuit, and he also hopes to clear the various misunderstandings that surround him. We also request to Ku Hye Sun that she stop spreading false information through social media. Furthermore, we ask her to submit to the courts the ‘photo of [Ahn Jae Hyun] eating a late-night snack with a woman at a hotel’ that she mentioned yesterday (September 4) on her social media. According to Ahn Jae Hyun, the photo was taken with an ex-girlfriend he dated before marriage. She is not the actress he is currently filming a drama with. However, Ku Hye Sun distorted [the truth] to make this photo a recent one and newly claimed that the reason behind the breakdown of their marriage is [his] affair. This is clearly false. Ku Hye Sun has even mentioned a story about ‘a photo of an ex-girlfriend’ on tvN’s ‘Newlywed Diary.’ To our knowledge, Ku Hye Sun currently has the photo in a USB drive. We hope that she will submit it to the courts and verify the truth. We hope that the truth will be revealed through an analysis of photo data records. Finally, Ahn Jae Hyun wishes for the truth to be revealed. He has stated that it is unfortunate that he can only do so by taking legal action. However, in this situation in which all sorts of falsehoods and rumors are being spread, we hope that [the public] will understand that the only option he has is a divorce lawsuit. Moreover, Ahn Jae Hyun will take strong legal action against ungrounded suspicions related to Jung Joon Young as well as rumors with a certain actress, so we ask that you take special caution.

Oh geez, he is serious with this shit, man. It might end up being a self-own, but they challenged her to provide the receipts if she’s gonna put everything out there.

As far as the actual issue goes, it was kinda amusing that people had already dug into supporting one side or the other in what was a divorce mess, which obviously pretty commonly gets petty and pretty commonly involves wild accusations and shit. Not like there was anything serious that emerged where there would be benefit to taking a side either, and the same continues now since we still don’t know what their relationship was like.

For me, right now it still just seems like a big-ass, unnecessarily public relationship mess filled to the brim with drama, and that’s why I have covered it as such. There’s no need to pick sides with something like this, as even if one side seems like they’ve got the upper hand, it’s hard to imagine a scenario where either truly wins at this point.
