The music video for Primary‘s “Bad High” with a feature from Jade was released recently, and it showcased a young woman dancing through a street market in Korea. Notably that when the sinister drop kicks in, so do supernatural elements.
While the song is completely different, the music video seemed quite blatantly inspired by MONDO GROSSO‘s “Labyrinth” music video from 2017, though sans supernatural elements.
In turn, that music video was inspired by ‘La La Land‘, and so on and so forth, I’m sure. Rather than hand-wring over that like some are doing, thought both music videos were examples of interesting concepts executed well.
