Jung Joon Young’s molka crimes & participants detailed in court report revealed by KBS

As has recently made the news, Jung Joon Young was recently sentenced to six years in prison for his molka scandal that included a lot more than that, including gang rape.

In connection with that KBS has reported on who received what in connection with his crimes in a court report, at least in terms of the molka.

On the 3rd, KBS obtained a copy of the 67-page report from the court that details the extent of Jung Joon Young’s crimes and subsequent 6 years prison sentence and shared the report with the public. According to KBS, Jung Joon Young often illegally filmed women and shared the videos and photos with his friends “at least three times a day like it was a daily meal.”

The details can be read here, but this is an accurate summation of who was named.

Overall, Jung Joon Young illegally filmed and shared videos and photos of at least 14 people and spread them throughout 5 group katalk chats and 3 private (one on one). At least 10 women were victims of the illegal molka with 2 of the victims being foreigners. Below is the full list of names that received Jung Joon Young’s hidden molka videos and photos between November 2015 through June 2016:
Big Bang’s Seungri (Lee Seung hyun)
BEAST/HIGHLIGHT Yong Junhyung
F.T Island’s Choi Jonghun
CNBlue Lee Jonghyun
Yuri Holdings CEO Yoo In Suk
Burning Sun Club employee “Kim”
Girl’s Generation Yuri’s brother Kwon Hyuk Jun

For those who have been wondering and asking about those who are listed here but aren’t going to prison (mainly Seungri), that has been answered before, and it’s because viewing contents are not illegal.

As you can see, she also explained why Seungri likely won’t face criminal charges for being a participant in the hidden camera group chat as long as he himself didn’t send any hidden camera videos or photos. Of course, as I’ve discussed around these parts before, there’s a difference between legality and morality. And while Seungri may yet be cleared of the former, he certainly cannot be cleared of the latter at this point.

So by the law, it actually makes sense that he won’t be charged for his involvement in this, and the same goes for others as well. However, as alluded to in the morality section of that, it hardly excuses them and anything else they may have done. Don’t let fans desperately trying to switch the narrative change that reality.

These threads essentially make the same point.

Of course, the report also mentioned that this likely isn’t the half of what actually went on.

KBS also pointed out that the court’s judgement only contained details of the charges that the prosecution officially brought against Jung Joon Young. Jung Joon Young reportedly erased his “golden phone” at the beginning of the police investigation, indicating that he could have illegally filmed and distributed on a much larger scale than described in the court judgement.

Yeah. So we don’t even know the full scale of what went on during this time period, and unless you think they only started in December 2015 and then stopped in June 2016 for some reason, there’s likely years of it missing.
