Reasonable people should’ve ended the saga of former ENHYPEN member Heeseung a while ago, preferably before it messed with the lives of citizens, but their fandom have managed to keep it going nevertheless. That’s one of the reasons his fancall event yesterday was of interest since he seemed likely to directly answer some questions about everything that’s going on.
At least for me, he seemed to have killed off any doubt that this is what he wants after watching video fro the event.
When supposedly asked by a fan about what he wants, he expresses some sadness about the decision itself, but affirms that he’s okay.

It’s basically said in a way where he doesn’t want to alienate the fans who care about the group (showing some remorse), but also … he’s basically saying this was his choice.
If that was too ambiguous, then he says his solo album is coming soon, seemingly mouthing “in May” during a muted section of the convo.

I’m not gonna be naive and pretend this will satisfy everybody, but it surely has to kill off the most serious of the protests, right? If he’s dropping his solo album in May already, this shit has probably been in the works for a while now. He wanted it and got it. Good for him, and I hope the fans have the same energy for his solo that they do for making a shitshow out of all this.
