Way back in January, former soloist Matsushita Yuya announced he was creating a group on his own label called X4, and they recently made their debut with “KILLING ME“.

X4 are quite promising and provide a nice mature alternative to idol groups by coming in more along the lines of an LDH group. “KILLING ME” was a solid track that was catchy enough and showcased a lot of potential through their vocals and dance, but it’s still basically Matsushita Yuya and the boys in terms of star potential.
Given that, I didn’t think Yuya joining a group was necessary, but if this is what he thinks he needs to make a bigger name for himself, then so be it. I’ll be looking forward to more.
