STELLAR’s “Cry” was a quality idea letdown by poor implementation

STELLARCry

STELLAR, best known for their over-the-top sexiness more than anything else at this point, have actually consistently been releasing quality music, but “Cry” was one of their weaker efforts in a while through no fault of their own.

“Cry” was definitely fun and upbeat, and I actually thought it had a quality instrumental that got the song started off right. However, there’s basically no build to it at all, and there’s this feeling of sameness throughout the track despite the high BPM. STELLAR did what they could, but the composition itself is what lets this effort down.

At least they all look great, though, even if all you can picture throughout the driving scenes is Minhee‘s inability to control the vehicle.
