Utada Hikaru will sing theme song for ‘Kingdom Hearts III’, according to her dad

‘Kingdom Hearts III‘ has seemingly been pined for since ‘Kingdom Hearts II‘ in 2005, and while it does not yet have a release date, it’s definitely in development. What was unclear, however, was whether Utada Hikaru would return to sing the theme song, as she did with “Hikari” on ‘Kingdom Hearts‘ and “Passion” on ‘Kingdom Hearts II‘.

I apologize for what I said. I was little confused when asked whether we would be involved in Kingdom Hearts III. As of now it's undecided.

Yesterday, however, Hikki’s dad Utada Teruzane replied to a fan’s question about her involvement with ‘Kingdom Hearts III’, saying that they have already started working on the theme song.
