There’s a chill in the air, summer is over (thank god)…and I have yet more songs you might have missed. August’s playlist is short, sweet, and…just slightly behind schedule.
$ammy ft. Colde – ‘icywavy’
Some nice raspy vocals from $ammy, and Colde’s usual bouncy flow come together nicely in this dreamy track. Good luck getting ‘icy, wavy’ out of your head.
Yami Tommy – ‘Know My Name’
Yami Tommy is another from the same mould as rappers like Hash Swan and Punchnello, with a monotone and slightly angry delivery – and this song is fun and catchy enough for Yami Tommy to deserve to be better know.
Phe Reds ft. pH-1 ‘Senseless’
This song is sweet and pretty, and the perfect soundtrack for a nice autumn walk. Also, my boy pH-1 never disappoints me.
Peakboy – ‘Kelly’
Continuing our theme of sweet, piano-led tracks, this song has some solid vocals from Peakboy and a bittersweet edge.
Target – ‘Baby Come Back Home’
Everything about this song – the melody, the aggressive idol rappers, the MV – totally SCREAMS 2013 kpop…and I kind of really love it. Or, the pre-chorus at least.
