Cube Entertainment says PENTAGON members Yan An, Yeo One, Yuto, Kino, and Wooseok have not renewed with company

PENTAGON members Yan An, Yeo One, Yuto, Kino, and Wooseok have all chosen to end their contracts instead of renew, according to Cube Entertainment.

We have held lengthy and honest conversations with the PENTAGON members ahead of the expiration of their contracts. After careful considerations, we have concluded our exclusive contracts with Yeo One, Yan An, Yuto, Kino, Wooseok.
We would like to express our deepest gratitude towards Yeo One, Yan An, Yuto, Kino, Wooseok for being with us for the past seven years and we will always wish them happiness.

PENTAGON last made a Korean comeback in January of 2022 with In:vite U, but they released Pado in Japan just a couple months ago in August.

Originally a 10-member outfit, the group’s membership fell to nine back in 2018 when DAWN left after his “controversy” with HyunA. And while there’s no word on the way forward for the group here yet, the nine-member group might be down to a quartet now, as the company statement doesn’t even include some hopeful fanservice about continuing on despite parting ways.

Update

The quintet have dismissed disbandment talk and hinted that they still consider themselves members.
